Share a small treat you've enjoyed lately. Can be food or not food.
These aren't new, but I've recently discovered Magnum Mini ice cream bars, particularly the double caramel variety. They have 170 calories, which is pretty easy to save in my daily budget, and I feel like I've had a big, rich dessert. So yummy.
How are you treating yourself lately?

I painted my toe nails light blue for spring and I love them. I also added a gold ankle bracelet for the warm weather…

Do you like chocolate and orange together? The Lindt intense orange chocolate bars are to die for. Never had those. My mom bought a whole bunch of them with different flavors on QVC and keeps them in a bowl by her door so of course you have to grab one when you walk in and when you leave lol. My favorite is the double chocolate.

I treated myself to a massage yesterday. Well actually, *I* didn't treat myself, DSO bought me a gift certificate a couple of months ago. It was the first time I've had a massage since we were in Vietnam 5 years ago, where we had a daily massage for a fraction of the cost that they are here.

I’ve been making tru fru frozen chocolate covered strawberries or raspberries. I have to hid them from the kids! I buy the little boxes of frozen strawberry slices and frozen banana slices (both covered in chocolate) from Trader Joe's. They are a nice little treat. This reminded me that I need to get some more. I just need two slices to fill that chocolate craving. Unfortunately, once the box is open, the whole family eats the whole thing. This isn't a really small thing, but an old co-worker introduced me to the starbucks dragon drink. I just love it. It doesn't have a ton of calories and is super refreshing. It's definitely my monthly splurge.

Really, the lady of the house is entitled to a little treat.

DH and I also like those small strawberry cheesecake 'yogurty' things (it's philadephia brand and comes with graham cracker crumbs). DH tries to hide those, but the kids ALWAYS manage to find them.

Fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate. Such a spring treat! I make them by the baking sheet full. We indulge in way too many.

My husband bought me some Crumbl cookies after my surgery. He also bought the new floral release No Bull shoes to wear now that I can start walking a bit.
I can’t say this is a small treat…there are a few new scrappy things out that I just had to have…I have 5 orders on their way to me at some point. 🤦🏻♀️

I’ve been addicted to Wether’s hard candies lately. I know they make soft ones, too but I’d end up popping a crown (fake tooth) off. I know I could chew on only one side of my mouth, but I also know I have zero self control 😃

What a nice theme for a thread!
Fresh strawberries with a splash or two of balsamic vinegar. It sounds weird, but it is sooooo tasty.
We used to go to a restaurant that served a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of olive oil. Also sounds weird, but is really delicious.

I know I could chew on only one side of my mouth, but I also know I have zero self control 😃 If you chop up three of these and put them in hot chocolate, you will have the best caramel flavored hot chocolate ever. I make this mix for gifts at Christmas and people often ask for the recipe. Ha. Chopped candy. So good.

I found a little sign at JoAnn's this past weekend that says "Happy Campers" and I bought it to hang outside the door of our camper.

Our local meat market closed, so we went and checked out a couple of markets a little farther away. We found one 20 minutes away. It’s nice and the products and prices are reasonable.
My DH was the first to spot the small display of fudge. Bonus part - it’s fudge from Mackinac Island, Mi! If you’ve ever had fudge from any of the fudge shops on Mackinac Island you’ll know how special it is. We haven’t been to the Island since we took our grandson in 2018. We have such fond memories of that trip and finding a local source for the fudge is really special. In addition to several flavors of fudge, the store also carries several flavors of the caramel corn. Of course, I just had to buy that, too.
Now we occasionally take a Saturday drive to the market when DH is craving fudge. It makes for a fun little outing with a treat at the end.

My treat is not food, I buy as good as new second hand craft books, either quilting or crochet. I'm building up a lovely shelf of reference books. I have a Kafee Fassett book arriving tomorrow and I can't wait.

I was going to ask for your Tru Fru recipe… I recently discovered that Kind makes mini bars, and the dark chocolate, nuts and sea salt flavor has just three grams of sugar…perfect for a snack when I’m craving sugar, and nuts are the first ingredient.
