No, I never wanted one, never had one and feel they are a silly tradition.

I don't. It's tight and it bugs me. I'm not a jewelry wearing girl anyways, so I never think about it. DH does not wear one because of the type of work he does (actually did). Dangerous.
It's no biggie for us. We are married. We know it. It's never been an issue.

I wear my wedding band always. It has small, channel-set diamonds in it, and I have loved it every minute of our >25 years of marriage. I wear the solitaire engagement ring when I think of it, but the band is always on.
When my weight is really high, the rings don't fit - the first time that happened was when I was pregnant. DH bought me a plain platinum band (with an engraving inside that I treasure) in a bigger size, and I wear that when the others don't fit.
We got the wedding set at an estate jeweler - the wedding band has a sweet and funny engraving inside it. I love the spirit in which it was made, and I like to think we're honoring that spirit in our own marriage, no matter what actually happened to the original couple!

In almost 25 years I've rarely taken it off. A big reason in the last 10-15 years would be that it's not easy to get off. About 2 years ago I was better about exercising and eating better so I lost a fair amount of weight--my plan was to have my ring resized a little bigger when I could easily get it off my finger. However, once I could get it off easily I forgot about my plan and now I'm back to not being able to get it off. I don't even notice it most of the time, but when I have taken it off I definitely notice that it's gone.

I answered other because mine is weird. I almost always wear A wedding ring. I wear a silicone ring a lot of the time, especially if I’ve worked out. I wear my real ring more for dressing up.
I do take it off at night and when bathing.

I did have the diamond reset and got a new band. It was for our 15th wedding anniversary. Previously it had been a solitaire and now it has some very tiny diamonds on the bands. I had platinum the first time and it really dulled. Now I have white gold. I've always worn it but I really love the new setting.

I voted other, because I have a few different rings that get worn regularly, but I put them on when I’m leaving the house, and take them off before bed. My original engagement ring is a solitaire and my wedding band is a wrap that the solitaire sits inside of. I was 22 when we got engaged and just turned 23 when we got married, so back then, my style was the bigger the better. My original set is a bit flashy and not particularly comfortable with the way the rings “lock” together. I wore them every day for the first 6 or 7 years. Then I got a job dealing with the public and I got a little uncomfortable with some of the comments people made about my jewelry and it was also a pretty physical job with lots of lifting boxes, etc, so I switched to a plain band when I was working and wore my original set on weekends. I got a five stone anniversary band a few years ago that I sometimes wear in the place of my original set, but I often still wear the plain band. For our 20th anniversary last December, I took my original set to be resized and rhodium plated, so it looks like new again, and I still wear it occasionally.

My husband and I both stopped wearing ours within a few months of getting married. 24 years later, we are still very much in love. 🥰
The only jewelry I wear is my nose ring. 😂

I wear my original bands almost all the time. They are not my style and were not my style then, but DH chose them 35 years ago and I wear them. We've talked about upgrading my diamond chips (we were poor college students!), but there's always something else to spend money on. I may do so once we've bought a house, but I'd restyle it with similar elements. I just don't like how my hair gets caught between the two rings and the large(ish) diamond pokes up and gets caught on everything. But after 33 years, I'm used to it. Please don't ever tell him that I don't like my rings--it would crush him.

My wedding ring has a pearl. Therefore, I take it off as soon as I get home, and when I wash my hands if possible

I have enlarged knuckles from arthritis and can no longer wear my beautiful wedding set. I have a few silicone bands in different colors that I wear if we go out, but I also haven’t worn any jewelry at work for the last 23 years as I am a lunch lady and we can’t wear any jewelry.

I always wear my wedding ring, although I take it off at night. It's not really my style; highly engraved from a store in NYC that I found out about from Victoria Magazine. It's pretty, but the engraving has worn down over the years.
My engagement ring diamond got loose several years ago, and it was sitting in a drawer until January, when I had it set into a bezel set necklace, which I'm really enjoying wearing now that the turtlenecks are coming off.

I have a plain gold wedding band that I used to wear as part of my "going out into the world" uniform. I would take it off as soon as I got home as I don't like wearing rings and in 20+ years, never got used to it.
In 2020, I just stopped wearing it.

I take spells when I wear it. Sometimes I can’t stand anything on my hands. It’s the Fibro. I simply cannot wear necklaces because the back of my neck is hypersensitive. I can wear rings more often than it bothers me.
I don’t wear them at home. Only out and to work. Still love my engagement ring. Simple oval solitaire. The band is super plain, though not original. The first band was lost in our back yard. Either Girlie swallowed it thinking I had dropped a treat or a bird carried it off. DH bought a metal detector and we spent a fair amount of time searching.

I answered that I don't care for the style anymore. I actually still think it's beautiful, but it looks like it's from the 90s because it is.
I haven't worn it for many many years. It's a natural emerald with diamonds in yellow gold surrounded by a gold band with channel set diamonds, soldered together. The stone is lovely but it's delicate, and one of the tiny prongs that holds one of the little diamonds in place broke so it's missing a small diamond. I'm not sure I'll ever get it fixed, I don't care that much.
I do however wear a wide silver band from Tiffany that he gave me for our 25th anniversary and my finger feels naked without it. I love it.

Nah. I had the same ring made woth fake stones for traveling a few years in and wore it pretty consistently but the last 3 years or so I sometimes wear a band bit usually don't wear a ring on that finger....kind of weird since I wear 4 other rings every day 😄 I dropped my real ring off to be cleaned and appraised in September and still haven't picked it up. I should do that.

I stopped wearing any rings in 2020 because I was washing my hands 7 billion times a day. I recently put them back on and haven't removed them since.

no...I didn't have an engagement ring and we couldn't afford wedding rings when we got married at the courthouse so used rings we already owned - dh's had been a high school graduation gift, mine was a Claddagh ring my mum gave me for my 21st. When we did a religious ceremony five years later, DH replaced his with a Claddagh ring to match mine - except his is actually decent quality and mine was from Service Merchandise. Mine hasn't fit in years and I keep meaning to get it resized but I suspect it'll cost more to do than teh ring is worth. He wears his on special occasions (it's too big now)

I only wear my platinum engagement ring/band combo if I’m going somewhere special. I love the engagement ring too much to risk losing a stone, so I haven’t worn it regularly for years. I also have a plain gold band that I wear. If I’m just around the house, though? No rings.

I only take mine off to knead bread. Mine is very simple and classic, so I still like it. Just one band. Only jewelry I wear. The only thing I don’t like is that the center stone sticks up. Like the one in your avatar. I wish it were lower but I don’t think they ever are, are they? If that was an option and it wasn’t too much I would do that. It gets caught on stuff.

Love my ring. We got married as poor, poor kids and after 30 years, I upgraded the main diamond. I have three other diamond rings that I also wear. They were my moms. I love a pretty diamond.
People are kind of all over the place with how they feel about their ring. I like that I got to pick mine out. I cannot imagine what he would have chosen.

Yes, but not the original one. The diamond fell out of my engagement ring (my wedding ring was a wrap), so now I have a plain gold band. Dh is on his 3rd band, I believe.

Todays is our 25th anniversary and I always were mine. They are soldered together and my wedding band is a wrap around my engagement ring. I still love my set.

Neither of us wear ours. We’ve been married 23 years. Mine hasn’t fit in years and he couldn’t wear his at work for a while so we both stopped.
Mine is very beautiful and still perfect, I just can’t wear it. Maybe one day.

I wear mine ALL the time. Over forty tree years, I have had it redone 2 times. The first time I continued wearing my original gold band. Two yeats ago, I took my ring in for repair and there were multiple issues. I ended up with all new bands as the repair cost was close to $1000 and for $2000 I got new rings. I chose a very low profile set in white gold and have enjoyed wearing it, my original and first replacement were gold.

I've always worn a wedding ring. Recently, my husband had my ring re-worked (larger diamonds) and I had a loaner ring from the jeweler. However, now that I have my ring back, I have to remember to take it off if I'm working cows or something like that. It's too expensive to risk damage or losing it.

I wear a cheap silicone band because I lift weights every day. I have a bunch of colors and I love them. No I do not wear my diamonds or bands anymore. ETA: You can see my white band in my avie picture. Right now I have on one that's a pretty grayish blue.

I used to wear it daily, but about 4 years ago, some young dude was eyeing my ring on the train and started following me to the parking lot. Luckily there was an officer sitting in the parking lot, so she chased him away. I took off my ring and never wore it again. I planned to take it out for fancy occasions but it’s a hassle. It’s stored in an underground safe with a complex code. It usually takes me 3 tries to unlock, so I haven’t bothered.

I do not wear my original wedding ring (married 20 years this summer) because we upgraded my ring 15 years ago. My original ring was white and blue sapphires. I wear the new ring often but not every day. If I'm just working from home all day I don't put it on. My mom passed away about 6 weeks ago and I inherited her diamond solitaire. That ring couldn't be resized to fit me so I've had that diamond put into my current ring. Now I have a very sentimental ring that I will absolute wear more often. She wore that ring every day and now I can wear it and remember her. I am sorry for your recent loss. Thank you! She live a long and great life, spoiled by my dad. Now I can think of her each time I wear my ring!

I wore mine day and night for the first 21 years of our marriage. I only took them off if I was swimming in a lake or ocean where they could get lost or if I was working with something messy. When I was pregnant my hands swelled up so much I figured I’d better try to get them off while I still could. Both of my sisters had to have theirs cut off at the hospital when they went to have their kids and I didn’t want to go that route. I almost waited too long because they were really hard to get off at that point but I did get them off.
After DD was born I was washing my hands a million times a day. My marquise shaped diamond sticks up and I didn’t want to scratch her, not to mention I couldn’t get them back on anyway. We didn’t have the money to get them resized at that point, and by the time we did have more discretionary funds it had been so long since I had worn them that I was kind of over it and didn’t bother. I thought about getting a silicone ring at one point but I’m really not much of a jewelry person. I like wearing a watch and always wear one. The only other jewelry I always wear are small yellow gold hoop earrings that I never take off because they’re a bitch to get back in.
DH has never really worn his ring mostly due to working jobs where it could get caught on something and be dangerous. We’ve been married going on 34 years so we’re in it for the long haul rings or no. FWIW, I still like my wedding rings and if they fit I probably would still wear them at least occasionally.
