Good morning! I finally feel like I had a good night's sleep and I can't remember dreaming at all. In my world, a dreamless sleep is something to aspire to because it is the only time I feel like my brain really rests.
It's nearly the weekend and the weather is improving so much in Michigan and I'll just say I am grateful. Now remind me how grateful I am when it's over 80 and I'm complaining. š¤£
Anyway, I'm going to see how the day goes today before I figure out what I need to think about on my walk.
Have a good day!

The weather is improving here too. 70 later today but 39 when I walked this morning and yesterday morning too.
I canāt remember what was on my mind for yesterdayās walk. Today I thought about what I need at the grocery. The people we are going to Ireland are coming over tonight to discuss some additional sightseeing.

Still in the 40s here during my 1.7 mile walk this morning. Going to be cloudy and 74 today. I am home all day today. Yah! That won't be the case again until at least Monday. Saw a beautiful peach feather on my walk this morning. I should have taken a photo. I wondered if it was from a mourning dove. It's the only bird I can think of that may have had a feather that color. jeremysgirl, glad you had a good nights sleep. I "think" I did too. LOL!

Today I thought about what I need at the grocery. Making a list in your head is always a good use of time. glad you had a good nights sleep. I "think" I did too. LOL! If you think you did, you probably did. It's like me, I don't remember having any dreams or waking up in the night, so I must have slept good.

Yesterday I didn't walk until the early evening and ran into a friend walking her dog, so I walked with her. I'm loving these longer days and all the beautiful flowers in the neighborhood.
I have too much solitary time right now so I'm adapting the challenge to what I need most which is a "get out the door and walk at least 20 minutes every day with or without company" challenge. And when I'm alone, I'm being very intentional about seeing the beauty around me. And because I'm a sucker for gold stars, I put a star on the calendar every day I do at least 20. This morning I did my once-a-week one hour walk at the beach with a friend and I'm not sure if I'll do an additional solitary walk.
Happy walking, you all!

I did my walk with the dog...She forces me to walk slow as that is her pace..The birds were singing as usual...and the City had mowed the grass at the various baseball fields we passed so the smell of freshly mown grass was in the air.š
I got a second walk in in the evening yesterday with my girl...It is so much noisier at that time......I really am trying to be cognizant of the sounds around me while I walk

I didnāt sleep well last night, and then woke late not feeling very refreshed. Thankfully, our weather was lovely again today, so I decided to go to a local market/fair. I walked a long way, sometimes just looking and taking in all the colours and sounds of the market, sometimes chatting with stall holders and other market goers. It was very tiring overall, especially as I had to speak German all day, but tiring in a good way, like I have achieved something. Tomorrow Iāll be back to the woodlands.

After my ābreakā in the hospital, I am home since yesterday afternoon and able to get out into the yard to walk this afternoon. Not a mile, but kept my feet moving for 20 minutes. Couldnāt believe how quickly things are greening up. Hope to get out again tomorrow, maybe get some distance.

After 2 weeks of rain, we finally have a dry day. Just in time for our neighborhood garage sales. I walked 2 miles, listened to the birds, browsed my neighbors' crap and bought a Longaberger basket.

I am so annoyed with Tapatalk... I cannot find this thread when I look there, I only see it on my laptop. So this grumble is a place holder. Hopefully it will put this thread at the top of my Tapatalk screen... Edited: yeah that worked. š Anyway, today was not a great day at school. I subbed for the gifted resource teacher who had eligibility meetings all day. What I had to do was run from classroom to classroom and sub for the teacher when he/she had to be in the meeting. I was tricked into it. The teacher didnāt mention that this is what it would be so I thought I was subbing for her (push-in and small group pull-out). I donāt like subbing for meetings because basically itās babysitting. Anyway, I ran around so much that I knew I would be exhausted after school. So during a 45-minute break I went for my walk. I know a 1-mile route around the school because we take the preschool on this walk sometimes. So I did that.

The past few days have been.. gloomy, and thus no walking because I'm all doom and gloom BUT today I forced myself out into the world and it wasn't so bad the city came around and cut back all the trees so now they're all goofy looking. At least the leaves are sloooowly coming in, though! I was only able to make it halfway today without a podcast. I think I'm still in a funk from the past few days and knew my mind wandering wouldn't be the best right now. Prior to that though, all my thoughts were about lunch I'd be making when I got home And hoping the rain would wait until later tonight because I'm grilling steak and veggies for dinner š¤š¤ I hope you guys have been having decent days ā¤ļø

We took three 1 mile walks during the day yesterday, my dog and I. Then he woke me up at 2:00am needing to go out (he is having a reaction to his vaccine) so we went for a mile walk in the middle of the night. I was just trying to stay awake!
It is finally warm and sunny today! It has been in the low 40s and 7 days of gloomy weather and rain. We have not seen the sun in so long, so it's been nice to go for a few long walks today and not have to bundle up in sweatshirt, heavy coat, hat and gloves.

My day spun all of control yesterday. It was good, it just didn't follow the path it was supposed to. I got my walk around the grocery store! Boo! That wasn't supposed to be how it went... But that was the only place I did actually walk a mile.
