Good morning! Sorry I didn't get to follow up with you guys yesterday. My day just got away from me. I had plans last night. And then errands all afternoon. It just went sideways.
Today my friend is coming to scrapbook with me for International Scrapbook Day! Fun, fun. I'm drinking my coffee right now and then I'll get out there and walk before she gets here.
Have a fun day! I will be checking in periodically.

Good morning! I had to make things work this morning so I got my walk in inside the house while watching the coronation. Between that and it being my late sister’s birthday, that’s what was on my mind. She was older than me and my mom allowed another family to adopt her when she was a few months old and my mom was only 18. I knew nothing about her until I was 8 and she found us in her 20s. What a story. Anyway, that’s going to be on my mind most of the day today, I know. I’m hoping to get out and plant some flowers and get some more exercise. I love reading about all your walks. Have a great day!

I did 2.74 miles hitting up garages sales in my neighborhood. But I wasn't alone. On the plus side, it was an hour and a half of chatting with my 13 year old son which was totally worth it.

I haven't been good about posting. I did walk 4 of the last 6 days. Today is already done.
Honestly the only thoughts I have are about what I am seeing when I am out there,. Someone's landscape, a dog, a car that drives by, the person walking in my direction etc. I usually do my personal thinking when I am driving to and from work, and when I am in my craft room.

I met a friend so I had reflection before and after she left me. My thoughts today were about the coronation I watched, how historical that was, and neat to see. After she left, I was excited to see another coronation - King George III or Queen Charlotte's in Ep 3 of Queen Charlotte. The costumes in that show make the real life coronation look like potato sacks! LOL (not really, but the costumes and jewlery are UNREAL).

So after getting up at 4:00 a.m. to watch King Charles' coronation I thought omg I do not want to walk. But, I wasn't really tired (that will come later this afternoon, lol) and it's a gorgeous day and I had books to pick up from the library. So... I drove to the library and parked in the lower level of the parking garage. Then I walked up the exit stairs, around the park that's next to the library, and back to the library and around that. That was just about half a mile. So I did it twice, then got in a bit extra by going back around to the other door, getting my books, then walking out and back around to the other side to the steps down into the garage. The park was FULL. -- There was a T-ball game with the tiniest players I've ever seen. lol. If there's something even before regular T-ball this was it. They were very cute. lol -- The playground was like an ant hill there were so many kids on it. -- Tennis courts full. -- Volley ball game going on. -- Pick-up basketball on all four courts. -- Softball or baseball (I couldn't tell from where I was) on the main ball field. -- People setting up picnics in the pavilions. -- Tons of people dropping off glass at the recycling bins (we can't get curbside pickup for glass anymore, only plastic and paper) And my question is... why do people lose their minds over parking spaces? There are several parking lots on various sides of this big park. There were people trying to park at the one nearest to the main ball field but that lot was full. They were honking at each other, and hovering near a guy who was leaving, and fighting over who was next for that spot, etc. When they could have driven around the corner and pulled right into a spot, and then walked for 2 minutes to get back to the ball field. And it wasn't a problem of someone needing a handicapped spot because there were several of those that were empty. Anyway, those were my thoughts. haha No photos, although I would have loved to take one of the teeny T-ball players. However, I didn't want to be a random stalker stranger taking photos of little kids.

Oh I'm so glad you had that quality time with him. You will never regret the time you spend with your kids, making every moment and conversation count.

FurryP I'm glad to have you join us. I have a feeling you're not the only one who is walking and not posting. No worries.

Bridget in MD I am not a royal follower but I did take some time to look at the still photographs The Atlantic took. There's something I really appreciate about a good photo. Glad you enjoyed your day and your walk.

monklady123 I would have loved to see the tiny ball players. And people can really be jackasses in a parking lot.

On my walk today I reflected on the evening I had last night. I was having some anxiety about it before I went. Something about being around my sister. But I had a better time than I expected. Only one incident and that was way better than things have been. So I had a pleasant time.

Glad you had a better-than-expected evening, jeremysgirl . I didn’t walk far today, just down to the garden and back. My dog was so happy to see me out there. My dd & family planted our potatoes while I sat and drank coffee. Then I had energy to drive an hour to pick up my goodie bag from the NSD crop I had to cancel Now I am home and lying down while dd cooks supper. Feeling blessed. Promise I will walk tomorrow.

On my walk today I was just thinking about how happy I was that I didn't have to wear a winter coat and hat and enjoyed the sweatshirt only weather! And we saw the sun today and yesterday! We had 7 straight days of rain (not unusual at all for southweat PA) and it was really depressing. My dog an d I will go on our late night walk in a few hours. That's always nice because no one else is out, we have the neighborhood to ourselves!

I love getting up early and going straight out. Except today I woke up at 5:25 and it was too dark so I had to wait an hour. I didn’t really reflect on anything because I was focused on sunrise.
