I am using an app called Color My Life. A lot of peas have said they use Evernote. I have a combo of both. I am in the process of moving my stuff from Evernote to Color My Life. I feel like they both work well for cataloging.

I actually just set up a Google doc. I have a spreadsheet where I enter the stamp name, manufacturer and the catagory/catagories and then under description I just put a bunch of tags (a spring stamp might say: Spring, Easter, Mother's Day, flowers, nature, egg, butterfly, etc depending on what the set contains) Control F for find and I can search by a keyword. Not as detailed but it works for me and is cheap and easy. Since I almost always have my email up, the doc is easily accessible. Edited to add I just do a control F search for the name too when I am shopping, have stopped myself from buying a duplicate that way!

I use Evernote because I use my desktop computer more than my phone. There are many YouTube videos on how to use either Evernote or Color My Life.

Air table is another app I’ve seen used for this.

I use Air Table and it has definitely helped me when I'm looking for something specific or I just want to browse a certain category I have set up.

I started using Evernote. I have a long way to go before I get everything loaded.

I just went back to my original way of organizing with Evernote. It works so well for me, but it might not be the best for everyone. I enter all my information, including tags. Tags are the key. I also try to include a photo whenever possible. Each stamp or set gets a consecutive number, and I organize by size (e.g. S1 would be small, L1 would be large, etc.). It takes me less than 10 seconds to find something - no exaggeration.
I had changed to organizing by theme, but it didn't work as well. In fact, I found myself stamping less frequently because I lost track of where things were.
A good label maker is also very helpful. I have a Dymo LetraTag, and I love it.

Evernote works for me! And I agree that tagging is a must.

Inspired by this thread, I contacted Color My Life. Renee promptly added two free months to my account and pointed me at some help information. I have successfully added items! I've added items from pictures on the web (the idea of having to photograph all my stuff that wasn't in their barcode database was definitely putting me off)! I've discovered the project function, which I LOVE!! I used to take notes in my journal about future projects or maybe set the stamps and dies aside (and then find myself looking for them for something else and wondering where the heck they went). Naming a project and linking the stuff in my stash to it is GAME CHANGING!
