Elannah, I would think a store catering to little old ladies would be chock full of shoulder pads...
I have seen some dresses and other pieces lately that did have small shoulder pads, but they were mostly for the much younger crowd who doesn't remember the 80s shoulder pads.
I dressed like a young Winona Ryder in the late 80s/90s. Dressses with blazers, and old lady suits. Everybody was doing it. It was awful.
My mom finds a piece or two with smaller shoulder pads now and again. She doesn't need them. I think shoulder pads look weird on petite women.
My mom is almost 70, but she looks like she's in her 40s. She keeps trying to wear old lady clothes, convinced she's too old to wear younger styles. Thankfully my best friend and I keep the old lady clothes at bay. My mom is way too concerned that she is "mutton dressed as lamb".
I have very broad shoulders, so I usually cut the shoulder pads out of my clothes.

We have 2 jackets that have shoulder pads in them. Colour? Pylon. I don't think anything else has padded shoulders. All of our dressy jackets (holiday wear) are shoulder pad free.

I have a hot pink, wool swing coat that has some padding in the shoulders. Because of the cut and style of the coat, and because I am almost six feet tall, it is not obvious. I would be happy if it didn't have the padding, but I get a lot of compliments on the coat so I guess it looks okay!
