I was just thinking of my favorite sweater that had shoulder pads. I miss that sweater!

sharlag Please fix your title to this post. I had to read just to figure out what you were talking about. No I do not wear anything with shoulder pads. My shoulders are wide enough as it is. I was so glad when they went out of fashion.

The ugly Christmas sweaters I bought at the thrift stores all had shoulder pads.

My shoulders are big enough. I didn't need them in the 80s and I don't need them now

No, not me. I've purchased many garments with shoulder pads and always cut them out.

My blazers have padding in the shoulder area but really to keep the shape. I'm not interested in looking like Krystle Carrington

Oh holy heck no, my Mum (on the other hand) is still known to put shoulder pads under her bra straps. Which look even worse than sewn in pads because she ends up with this big dip area where her straps are.

No, not since the 80's. Hmmmm, maybe even early 90's. We were looking at old photos the other day and DD was most amused by my outfits with shoulder pads.

(spoken in a whisper)Ummm... I loved shoulder pads. Not all, but in general shoulder pads actually were more flattering to my large shoulders than without. But I have not worn them since the 90's- Do you think they will make a return to the fashion scene? They've come and gone before.

I have tiny shoulders but shoulder pads look ridiculous on me, always have. I cut them out immediately when I cut the tags off the garment.

I used to think I was pear shaped, now I realize I'm bowling pin shaped. Some crew cut shirts droop on me. Forget about wearing v-necks with camis underneath. Still too low. I wouldn't mind trying them again if they aren't monster sized.

I tried on a Ralph Lauren cocktail dress last weekend and was surprised to find it had shoulder pads. They weren't 80's huge and I think they actually flattered the cut of the dress. I really liked the dress, I just didn't really need another LBD.
But no, nothing in my current wardrobe has shoulder pads.

I had a mint green blouse with shoulder pads in the 80s. It looked really good on! I needed the padded shoulders to look taller. I was also skinny then too! Now all those years later, my shoulders are a bit bigger (not much) but they are bigger and stronger. i think I could still wear a light shoulder pad and look good in it. I don't have any blouses or sweaters with shoulder pads in them.
