I bought my everyday pair from Costco but now I’m looking for sunglasses. May even buy a second pair of glasses. I just looked at warby Parker.

Costco, because they have good pricing and you can try them on and get fitted. Warby Parker has actual stores now. I’ve never gone inside one, but that is an option if you have a store near you.

Optometrist's office. I wanted the lenses cut to my measurements, so no online. And online or places like Costco don't make them thin enough for me.
I had a pair of frames, brand name Masunaga and loved them. Got a new pair of glasses and I kept putting my old frames on. So a year later I decided to get another pair of Masunaga and I love them. When people say that $100+ pair of Lululemon's are worth it you might not know why until you've had a pair and then got a cheap Walmart pair then your longing for the feel and fit of the Lulu's. That's what I feel like the Masunaga are like.

I'm a big fan of Theo eyeglasses from Belgium. I've worn them for years and love them. I should add that the frames that I love are cateye, and more conservative than most of their frames--yes, this frame, but not this color. Frames are about 1300, lenses about 900.

Optometrist’s office only. My lenses are too complicated for online. As much as I love Costco, I have found their eye glass department and staff subpar to the professionals in my doctors office. Even if they make a mistake they will not correct it. A lesson learned the hard (and expensive) way. My glasses and sunglasses cost upwards of $900. My vision is worth it. Not a place where I’m will to cut corners to save a few dollars.

I buy my primary pair through an optometrist. My sunglasses through Warby Parker at their store. I also have purchased an extra pair there.

Zenni, especially for sunglasses. My rx sunglasses were $35. I have four pairs just of sunglasses and I think I’m up to about 20 pairs of regular, soI can match my outfits. I have some fun colors and patterns.

I buy a traditional, conservative pair from my doctor, based on my insurance plan, but I get a copy of my prescription and purchase sunglasses or an edgier style from Payne Glasses online.

With vision insurance, Warby Parker is still REALLY expensive for progressives. Costco does a shit job with their lenses. I had to take my glasses back 4 times because the lenses were not cut properly so the screw in the frames kept popping out. It took them 4 tries to get it right! Also, their anti-glare is garbage. Doesn't do anything.
I am loyal to a local eye place but I can't be without glasses for 2 weeks so if I don't get new frames, I have to go to VisionWorks or LensCrafters and then only the locations that have the lab inside so they can do it in an hour or so (once the lenses come in).

My sil swears by Warby Parker. I would get sunglasses at Zenni. We've had great experiences there.

Exactly this. Progressives are so costly at WP. I go to Visionworks because that is where my vision insurance pays the best. It also helps that the eye doctor next door to VW is fantastic.

Last month we were in London and I actually bought 3 pairs. Here's two of them I love the colors

I always just wait for Costco to have one of their $40 off the second pair deals and get the exact same frames, one with clear lenses and one with prescription sunglasses. I hate shopping for glasses.

LensCrafters. Our local one is fabulous. I’ve tried other places with mixed results, so I keep going back to LC.

I buy them at the shop attached to my eye doctor. I've tried Costco and BJs and the quality is just better at the shop.
