Hi everyone! I'm posting early because I'm meeting my mum for our weekly breakfast at Denny's soon! Usually I only have a poached egg and a piece of toast but I'm a bit more hungry this morning so I might have an omelette! This is what I posted on Facebook today ... my sleep habits are insane and I don't sleep in - ever. I couldn't imagine sleeping in until noon! I have no plans today other than to put some towels away that I washed in the middle of the night My Hello Fresh box will get delivered this morning ... I can't remember what I ordered so it will be like Christmas! My mum is coming over for dinner ... we will eat something from Hello Fresh ... I'm still hoping to hear an update from scrappintoee! What are your plans today? What is on your menu tonight? Have a relaxing Sunday everybody!

Good evening all.
I have had a lazy Sunday. I woke up later than I have been since I got home, which I guess is a good sign that I'm getting back in sync. As DH isn't home and it was raining, I decided to skip church - I'd have had to go with public transport, which not only takes nearly an hour each way (compared to 25 minutes by car) but also involves walking at each end of the trip. I went out for a longer walk than I've been doing lately - I still want to build up a bit more distance though - and spent some time knitting.
And now a question for you all: If you were the spare bands I bought last year for my Apple Watch, where would you be? I bought a set of 3 last year, and have pretty much only used one of them. Well, last night the bit that connects the band to the watch face broke on that one, and for the life of me I can't find its friends! We have moved in between, and I don't think I've seen them in this apartment, but I also don't think I would have thrown them out. I am using the silicon band that came as standard, but I really don't like how it feels - hence why I bought replacement bands last year!
Dinner tonight is chicken. I am not 100% sure how that chicken will be prepared - maybe pasta, maybe curry. Suggestions welcome!

mmmmm Dennys! I'm jealous, we don't have one here. Closest is in a hotel in Toronto near the airport - and it's not great. Anytime I'm in the US I try to go. And I always order breakfast, no matter what time of day! LOL
Raining here today so no big plans. I do have to go out to replace our keurig which decided to die in the middle of the night. It will power on but then as soon as you put a kcup in suddenly turns off. So no coffee this morning! AACK!!!
Dinner tonight is steak with baked potatoes, mushrooms and caesar salad.

I was able to see many different fireworks from my high-rise condo windows last night. There must have been at least 5-6 different displays going on at the same time. Friends came over to watch the fireworks, so I had a small party.
Today I will order Chinese. It's been awhile and I have a craving.

I do have to go out to replace our keurig which decided to die in the middle of the night. How long ago did you purchase the keurig? Did you register it with keurig? I had one die and they sent me a free replacement keurig. There is a Denny's in Niagara Falls but I prefer to go to Bob Evans in NF, NY, just a quick jump over the Queenston Bridge. They have unlimited fresh biscuits and usually give me about 4-5 to take home, free of charge.

I haven't been in a Denny's in years. There's a fun breakfast place right by my house called Spuds. Delicious food there. And it's local, not chain. sueg my Fitbit band is irritating my wrist so I'm hoping at least one of the peas has a recommendation on a band to replace it that won't irritate my skin. So I get why you're upset about not being able to find them. I've had two big days of quilting. It's going to rain all day. I've been crocheting. My BFF and I were hoping to get together today but she had a medical procedure Friday. And I haven't heard from her this morning so maybe she's not feeling well still. I will reach out and see. I plan on salmon for dinner. The grocery had stuffed salmon fillets on sale yesterday because they were near their expiration date. I really don't want to go to work tomorrow! Boo! Why didn't I take the day off? I even said I'd go in and cover mail tomorrow as the usual person is on vacation.

Just got back from a 2 1/2 mile walk. We were wilting. It's already 80 degrees in the house so the air will kick on at 82. Dinner will be Teriyaki Chicken. lol:

tanya2 might I suggest replacing your Keurig w/an instant pod? I love mine. it also brews Nespresso which I haven't tried, yet. I got so tired of my Keurigs breaking every now and then that I took advice from elaine and I've never looked back. Enjoy Dennys and your day leannec . sueg , how frustrating. My mother always used to ask, "if I was ... where would I be"? I'll bet it made it into a box of something random. Argh. quiltz , enjoy your day and your dinner.
jeremysgirl and sueg , Amazon has watch bands and they're cheap. I used to order different kinds for my fitbit and Now I order for my Samsung watch. I'm making great strides on a puzzle and will continue that today. Dinner is rechauffe chicken sandwiches.
My online shopping tour is almost complete. Yds is using his room as a hotel this weekend. Yesterday, they went to a very gorgeous area near grandma's house, hiked and had a bon fire. Then we woke up to photos of pizzas from our favorite pizza place. This am I'm trying to convince the guys to go to the fancy, unique donut shop down the hill from mil's house. It has huge donuts and lots of fun flavors. Dh gets death by chocolate, chocolate cream filling, topped w/chocolate cream and a piece of hard chocolate. Oh my. Anyway, ds will be back here just to shower and sleep and then they're heading back to their various campuses tmw am. That's fine. We knew in advance that this was a guy's weekend. Happy, fun, relaxing day to all.

Been a rough couple days stomach wise. I ate some chicken wings Thursday night and regretted it for the last two. I guess I’m gonna have to mark those off my diet. Darn. Muggy and rainy here today. No idea what’s for dinner or something bland maybe plain rice or pasta

christine58 , do you think it's one of the spices that you aren't tolerating? jeremysgirl , I hope that you get good answers about your watch band. Is it cloth or plastic?
That's a very strange mushroom, cadoodlebug. How unique.

I never had trouble with the old one. But I upgraded to the versa 4 a couple of weeks ago and I can't even tolerate it on my wrist.

Amazon has watch bands and they're cheap. Yeah, I know! That's where the one I was using and its missing friends came from. It's just not very useful at 10pm Saturday - and before you say 'next day delivery - NUH! NOTHING gets delivered in Germany on a Sunday. I have ordered another set (of 4 this time) that will arrive sometime tomorrow. Any guesses on when the old ones will show up?

jeremysgirl, I surfed a bit and it says that the Versa itself can be the skin irritant. If you surf you'll get explanations and ideas. sueg, your band will turn up after your new bands arrive, because that's how the universe works.

Today has been busy. Finally got the yard picked up from the storm. More storms expected this afternoon and evening.
I went to the grocery store early this morning. It was packed which I expected. There was only one cashier lane open. I was the eighteenth person in line. So, I spent a little longer in the store than I wanted.
I took a long, muggy walk after I got home. Going to get in the craft room and work in some cards.
I have the white silicone band on my Apple Watch. That’s what came with it and I’m too lazy to get another one. It gets really sweaty when I workout and walk. I have a friend that changes hers with every outfit. She does the same with her purses. Again, I am too lazy.
Dinner will be beef tips and rice.

LOL At least it was the one & only time we tried to go. This keurig was our freebie from Keurig because we called to complain about how many we go through. They don't seem to last most than 2 years. But we use it ALOT. I did look at the instant pod ones, thanks for that suggestion. They seem smaller than a keurig though. DH uses it for his travel mugs and they're too tall to fit under that instant pod from what I can see.

We bought our first one years ago and it went bad after a couple of year. Took it back to Costco and bought another one. The current one has been going strong for at least 10 years I think.

No idea what’s for dinner or something bland maybe plain rice or pasta Might be the preparation of the wings, rather than the wings themselves. We have been smoking wings, which lets the fat render out of them. But, you arw probably right to take a break from them for now. Have you tried taking a bulk-forming fiber pill? I used to take FiberCon and they would absorb the excess bile and make things a little less...in a rush. I agree that Id probably do some white rice until you are back on track.

I went through several Keurigs in the early years (one a free replacement from Keurig) and then I discovered the Bunn MyCafe. Holy crap, I love this thing. It’s been going strong for nearly 10 years now. In case something goes wrong, I have a replacement boxed up in the garage. They don’t make it anymore, but last time I looked, they had a similar substitute that cost about $100 more (and mine wasn’t cheap, either). But they’re really well made, unlike those crappy (at least in the old days, I don’t know about now) Keurigs. OMG!! It looks like they’re making something similar to mine now, and the price is in the same range. Everyone with a bad Keurig should look at this dream machine. Bunn MyCafeDinner last night was at (formerly my friend’s) Mexican restaurant. My visiting cousin loves it to pieces, so I knew that’s where we’d be going. Tonight is the BBQ at my sister’s. I need to make a big salad for it. Figure I got off easy. Tomorrow is a chemo day, so if I don’t show up here, dinner will be more of the sausage/veggies/tortellini soup I made the other day. I threw in half a jar of leftover spaghetti sauce, and it turned out so delish.

Hello all. I'm making ham for dinner - with potato salad and some sort of veg. Someone (no one has fessed up and it really doesn't matter who) left the freezer door open and by the time we discovered it, almost everything was thawed and warm. Managed to salvage a few things from the back that were still cool - the ham being one and the turkey I cooked last also - so am getting those cooked and either eaten or re-frozen asap. But SO much had to tossed

Linda, arggh, I’m so sorry. Such a bummer. I think my son put an alarm on their freezer door, because the kids (or maybe he himself) kept leaving it open.
