I am seeing a lot of chatter in a FB group I am in for area moms --- people have found a way to order and mix their own, getting the supplies online through a 'research' place and a body building place. Apparently the stuff for the compounds is available without prescriptions? And no, I will not be ordering any but a friend posted she was thinking of doing so and she has a job that does a serious background check and any legal issue she ran into ordering this online would cost her her job so I am curious if it is *really* legal to do so. That’s the peptides I mentioned earlier, either in this thread or another, which I may do when I hit maintenance dose. It is legal to buy them “for research purposes.”

Mine is a semuglutide compound and ordered through an NP who is also a nutritionist. It isn’t covered by insurance but it is on the up and up.

I took Wegovy for a month. My insurance denied it, so taking Victoza until Wegovy is in stock at the compounding pharmacy. I am paying out of pocket for it, but have lost close to 30 lbs since May.
