Hi everyone! I am not meeting my mum for breakfast this week because I'm fighting a headache/migraine so eating just isn't an option right now. I need to run an errand and do a couple of things around the condo today and then I'm just going to watch Netflix and play on the laptop ... after I get rid of the headache. This is what I posted on Facebook today ... I think this gravy boat is so hilarious! I love cats so much! I've invited my mum over for dinner ... she'll be here after bingo. My Hello Fresh box arrives today so we'll have something from that ... she can choose what! What are your plans today? What is on your menu tonight? Have a relaxing Sunday everybody!

Hi leannec! I'm so sorry about your migraine. Hopefully you can rest a bit and it will go away. If you're listening migraine, I said go away! 😉 I've just finished staining and sealing the new subfloor boards for the camper. Jeremy is out there working on it and let's just say almost half of the floor is now gone. Seriously he's standing on the ground underneath the camper while working inside of it. I didn't realize it was going to be such a big thing, but apparently he did. So while I'm trying hard to freak out, he's just happily sawing away with our neighbor. I'm going to sit and crochet for a while and listen to an audiobook. I am hoping that Jeremy will want to grill steak for him and salmon for me tonight. If so, I'll make some asparagus and potatoes to go with it. If not, I'll make pasta with sausage, tomatoes, zucchini and parmesan.

leannec - I hope your migraine goes away quickly and you are feeling better soon. Normal Sunday here. Church this morning, with Fr Patrick, who is my favourite of our priests. After lunch, I have been knitting away on Sophia's sweater, with the football on TV as background noise. Dh also set up the spare room ready for our guests on Tuesday and brought up all the bedding and towels they will need. I just have to move a few things down to the cellar tomorrow so they will be able to move around in the room. Dinner tonight is Moroccan spiced duck breast with cous cous salad.

leannec sorry you are fighting a migraine. Hoping it passes quickly. I am waiting on DD and DIL to get here so we can go to a bridal shower. It is for DH niece. I have feeling when I get back everyone will be here for dinner since DH is watching the granddaughters. I am planning on pork chops on the grill. If everyone is here then it will be pizza.

leannec that meme is hilarious. I hope your headache goes away quickly. jeremysgirl , I had to laugh at the last picture of Jeremy on your thread. Is that his stink eye? DH will be watching golf, the 49ers and Giant's today. I will work in my craft room. Dinner will be our favorite strawberry, greens, etc. salad. Anyone guilty of this? Thankfully DH and I have separate vanities but I never leave anything on mine except Kleenex, hand soap and a small clock.

Thanks everyone! My headache ended up not turning into a migraine and the Tylenol 3 worked! I went back to bed and now I feel a lot better!

No way! Even when I shared a vanity with ex I didn't do that! Now that I have my own it still only has the essentials ... I hate clutter. What I did hate about sharing a vanity was having to deal with his loose whiskers around the sink! . Love not dealing with that anymore!

I don't even think I own that many personal care products/cosmetics. I have a huge shelves area next to my sink with baskets that hold my crap.

I'm glad DD16 has her own en suite because her vanity looks like that Thanks everyone! My headache ended up not turning into a migraine and the Tylenol 3 worked! so glad that you're feeling better I don't even think I own that many personal care products/cosmetics I know I don't - I'm a minimalist in the personal care product area and own no cosmetics I'm exhausted - could not fall asleep last night until after 4. Dinner is turkey curry

leannec, glad you staved off a migraine. Enjoy the rest of today. I hate clutter. Dh is installing a new bathroom cabinet and sink/counter next week. It'll be very staged. It's formal night. I bought a deep red dress with some bling and we'll gussie up tonight.

Today DH and I celebrate our 35th anniversary! We are 35 years in and we have 2 amazing sons, 2 equally amazing daughters in law, 3 wonderful grandboys, 1 crazy puppy, 3 cute grand dogs and 3 silly grand kitties. Life is good.
I am babysitting the little one for a couple of hours this afternoon. It’s pretty chill though because he is napping. The oldest is at his other grandparents farm and the middle one is at a birthday party. Easy peasey!
DH and I will go out for supper for our anniversary.

When I still lived as a family of four we actually had five computers/laptops in the house! We were selfish I guess!

Dinner tonight was salmon, roasted broccoli, and rice.
All things considered, we've had a very lazy day here. We did Penn Museum, some hockey games, a very abbreviated Mutter visit, and Eastern State Penitentiary tour yesterday. We're already looking forward to our next Saturday in Philly. 😁

Happy Anniversary taylortroop. Enjoy your dinner! jeremysgirl is there a deadline for your camper? Do you have one of your weeklong trips scheduled? Dh flew out this morning for work. I did all our laundry, grocery shopped, planted grass around our deck construction, weeded my garden and tied up plants. Also did some cleaning. Met dd2 for a hike. Then went to see Luke when they got home from out of town. That little bugger wouldn’t talk to me or even look at me. Dd said he asked where we were everyday multiple times. Had salmon, broccoli and mashed potatoes.

teddyw there is no deadline for my camper. We wanted this project to play out on whatever timeline we have the energy for. We did not want to make this a rush or a chore of any kind. The only thing is that the subfloor needs to be in before our camping trip next month. But Jeremy and his buddies plan to finish it next weekend. We won't install the final flooring until the paint is done which will most likely be sometime after our camping trip. If I get up the motivation before then, I will prepare and prime the walls. But again, no pressure.

Happy anniversary taylortroop ! I have been so lazy about cooking dinner for the last couple of months. Last night DSO said he wanted pizza. Then he made the comment "When was the last time we cooked dinner?" Hmmmm, I reckon I've only cooked a proper meal maybe three or four times since we got back from OS. I really need to get back into the swing of things.

Hi everyone! Busy weekend here. Friends of ours who moved 5 hours away a couple years ago came back for a visit on Friday night and we, along with another 3 friends, went to the Niagara area Saturday to tour the wineries. Then back to one couple's cottage close by for the rest of the weekend. We came home after lunch to get stuff done around the house. Dinner was chicken parm & spaghetti

We each have our own computer as well. I don't mind sharing other things, but not my computer. One of the first things we did when buying computers was to buy two! We both had our own way and it was better not to share😀
