What joint supplement are you using? Is it expensive? Do you see a difference?
I've used Joint Strong for my dogs for many years. They just did a revision to their product formula and branding and now the cost has more than doubled. I liked that it was a powder I put in my dogs food rather than a chew but I'm not opposed to a chew. I just need new options.

My girl is 11 if she's a day. She's a mid-sized dog, but she's got the long body and short legs of a corgi, so I've tried to stay on top of joint health. From about 7/8 yo we did the Cosequin tablets. Then she started struggling a little from time to time with stairs etc. Also, appetite kinda dropped. Vet said to add fish oil to her food and suggested this one (she loves it and it doesn't make her stinky...): www.amazon.com/Omega-Fish-Oil-Dogs-Supplement/dp/B09DB3LV91/ref=asc_df_B09DB3LV91?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=80470626691815&hvnetw=o&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4584070156125257&psc=1Then as she got older I started buying these ridiculously expensive jerky sticks (in addition to the cosequin and fish oil..) and she LOVES them, but they stink and are stupid expensive, and honestly, I'm not sure if they did anything: coastsidebio.com/sea-jerky-beef-bulk-pack/Now, we are doing a soft chew supplement from the vet for Yumove... OMG... thank you for asking this question. I didn't know these were available on Chewy for almost a third what I pay from the vet..... geeze. Anyway, I replaced the stupid expensive jerky with them, similar ingredients and they aren't stinky (or as expensive.) Seems to be helpful. : www.chewy.com/yumove-joint-health-chewable-tablet/dp/396537?utm_id=401602605&msclkid=dc23ca7d7bce16e64d13ae9ee933ca18&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shopping_NC_Dog_HC_Health%20%26%20Wellness&utm_term=4585307092269122&utm_content=Hip,%20Joint%20%26%20Pain%20Care-Dog Full disclosure- she is also on a half tablet of Galliprant per day as an anti-inflammatory (she handles it very well.) We started it about 6 months ago because I felt like she was having bad weather type arthritis flare ups? We are in the North East where it hasn't stopped raining since March.

We use these. I think that they help a lot. Emma likes them, but she’s a Lab and they will eat anything! They are a little cheaper with Subscribe and Save and I like that they just show up when I need them.

We use Nutramax Cosequin Joint Health Soft Chews. Many stores carry it (Target, Chewy, etc...), but I usually buy it from Costco.com when they offer a coupon. This is one of the few chews that my dogs will eat as a treat. (We have to break up other treat supplements and put in their food cause they won't eat them as a treat.) Nutramax also has a mini version for small dogs. www.costco.com/nutramax-cosequin-joint-health-soft-chew-supplement-for-dogs-with-msm-%2526-omega-3's%2c-150-count%2c-2-pack.product.100376062.html I heard that TJ's joint supplements were good but I haven't tried those.

We use nuvet labs joint. It’s a subscription but you can change it whenever you want. Our somewhat picky Mastiff mix loves them and drools over them. They are kind of pricey but they seem to work. If we run out or forget to give them to her she is noticeably stiffer and will start limping.

My vet recommended Phycox for my GSD, but it caused some GI issues. He's on Nutramax Cosequin now and does well with it. He's 10yo and 100lbs, but he still is quite spry and able to get up and down the steps easily. In addition to the joint supplement, he is on Farmer's Dog which I think is a huge factor in his overall health.

You could look into pet CBD/pet Hemp We did the joint supplements for about a year, but they didn't seem to make any difference. When we switched to pet CBD oil it was a HUGE change, a much happier more lively dog!

Not a supplement but our dog is having Beransa injections monthly. It is an absolute game changer for arthritis. Its a relatively new drug and is has made the most incredible difference in my dog. She is a medium size dog (bull terrier x boxer) and couldn't get in the car or up on the couch. She would try to climb up and get stuck half way. Her walk was like a waddle and looked really tight if that makes sense. X-rays showed severe arthritis in nearly all joints. Less than a week after her first injection, shes running through the house and jumping straight up onto the couch. The difference is incredible and definitely worth enquiring about for anyone who's dog is struggling with joint pain or arthritis.

We were using Cosequin but switched to injections this past year and what a change! I a baby and won't do the injections myself but they say it's easy and can be done at home.
