...a first aid kit birthday card for a young man who will be 24 years old?
My dgs is a first responder. His birthday is coming up, and as usual I will be sending him cash as a gift. But as I was thinking about a card for him, i remembered seeing one awhile back that looked like a first aid kit.
I can figure out how to make the card. I just need to figure out what would go into each pocket. Trying to go with something he will chuckle about. He has already told me I can't watch Chicago Fire any more b/c it is giving me all the wrong ideas about his work life.
So I want to be funny, but my funny bone has left the building today...
I would like to send matches for the candles, but think that's not a good idea to send in the mail.

Playing off him telling you to stop watching Chicago Fire, how about printing out a small icon? thumbnail? photo? (not sure what to call it) of the show, or whatever show applies to his field.....and label it "open in case of emergency"
That is all I can think of that may give him a chuckle. Or maybe a few different shows.
ETA: Or maybe call it "Guide to Fire Fighting 101"
