My nephew lives in London and letterman jackets are very trendy there right now. I was just there and the flea markets he took me to were loaded with them.
He’s visiting in November and I joked I’d load up at the thrift stores here for him to take back and sell.

I chose "other" because I was gifted an embroidered jacket in 7th grade, the deluxe kind, but it was a high school jacket. It has my name and year on it. They were very "in" then, lots of other girls had one too. They were pretty expensive (would not have been in the budget in 1984-5) but I got mine because my dad worked as an artist at the same print and graphics shop that did all the high school jackets.
I never actually wore it in high school. I never purchased a ring either. I still have the jacket though! I'll never part with it. Nor my Forenza flowered jeans or my 1985 Swatch. Someone can enjoy it as a vintage item after I die. Though it's sized for a 5'0" 100lb girl, so not that many people could fit into it.

I got a high school ring but stopped wearing it after I got a college ring.
High school ring stayed in my jewelry box until DS was getting engaged. I then gave it to him, along with a few other random pieces, to sell for the gold value toward his purchase at the jeweler.

My parents bought me my ring my freshman year, so I wore it all through HS. It was the traditional class ring style. They were popular at our school and class rings were traded by dating couples. I lettered in several sports and activities, but never bought a jacket.
I also bought a college ring. It was a much less traditional style and I wore it for years after I earned my degree. I still have both of my rings and my husbands’ HS ring in my jewelry box.
Fast forward 20-25 years(!),neither of my kids were interested in class rings or letter jackets for their letters. We offered, but they just didn’t care. None of their friends seemed into it either.

I have my yearbooks. I never had a desire for the jacket. I came across one of my letters last night unpacking some stuff. I lettered in 2 sports every year for all 4 years. I really, really wanted a class ring but my parents said no and I didn't have the funds to buy it for myself.

No and No.
#1- I didn't have the money and neither did my parents.
#2- I "lettered" in swimming for 4 years of JV. LOL
I also did not get a college ring (I went to FOUR colleges)
DH got a varsity letter jacket- he lettered in varsity Golf for 4 years.
DH did NOT get any class rings either. Same reason- no money.
We both have all our yearbooks- his are K-12 and mine are 7-12.
I purchase my kids a yearbook each year (they're 7th and 2nd)

In my HS, jackets were for athletes only.
I/my parents purchased the Senior ring. I still have mine. I was glad I purchased it. I wore it in HS and at least 1 year in college.
I had all my annuals/yearbook. 2 were burned when our house burned, but I have 2. From time to time I look up a photo--lately when I get an email that a classmate died, if I don't immediately recognize the person I have looked up the photo to refresh my memory.
Now that I am older and know more--I really appreciate the sacrifice my mother made to purchase a yearbook for each of us every year.

I didn't answer the poll, because I didn't want to skew it with non-US answers. Jackets and rings were not a thing in Australia in the 80s. All we got was a windcheater with all Year 12 students' names printed on the back.
These days you can get a jacket, but rings are still not a thing here.

Jackets were for sports so that didn’t apply to me. We purchased our rings senior year and my parents bought mine for me. I must have worn it for a couple of years after I graduated because my parents knew (now) DH and I were dating & serious because they spotted my ring on his necklace in a photo I sent them from my New Years celebrations. I think I gave it to my nieces and nephews in a huge lot of dress up items.
I did purchase a yearbook my senior year, but I don’t think I did before that in HS.

Thankfully not a thing in the UK. The rings seem spectacularly pointless to me.

I got a ring when I was a Junior in HS. So did both my kids. My DD wore hers, but DS does not seem to.
I got a lettermans jacket - the boys version had the white leather sleeves, mine was all green (school color). We got letters for playing JV and Varsity (I was on volleyball), and I got a musical symbol for playing in the band for 4 years. My kids did not want a jacket, but my DD would wear mine during homecoming "blast from the past" days, LOL.

I have a jacket from chorus. Maybe had. I think I tossed it long ago.
No ring, no yearbooks, no professional graduation photos.
I was sad for a long time about not having a ring, but I'm over it now.

I had a ring and didn't wear it much beyond HS, but I think it was emotionally helpful to me. I had found a school that I loved, where I found my niche and belonged - and then we moved right before my senior year. It ended up being a good place for me in a lot of ways. I was able to have my original ring (issued junior year) modified (for free, thank you Josten's!) so that I had the stone from school 1, the name from school 2, and the icons on either side of the stone were the mascots from each school. It was a perfect fit for me, and I think really helped me mentally make that transition. I'm a hugely symbolic person (wouldn't feel like I graduated without walking across a stage, for example, even though I know that has no concrete value).
Didn't qualify for a jacket so a moot point for me, lol. (I did earn academic letters, but they couldn't get issued jackets!) I do have yearbooks from everywhere except 4th grade, where I started a new school at the beginning of the year, moved states (and schools, obvi) halfway through the year, and then went to a different school for 5th grade.

I loved my class ring. I never regretted it.

pinklady My DH was the exact opposite. He had no desire to get a class ring, but his mom made him get one. She never finished any formal schooling apart from a medical transcriptionist certificate after high school, so I think it was a big deal for her that her kids both got a Bachelor's and Master's degrees. He always says he's going to pawn the ring for cash. (Spoiler: he hasn't.) I never got either and had absolutely no desire to do so.

I had a ring but wasn't in any sports, so no jacket. I wanted the ring and paid for it myself, but of course haven't touched it in many years.
Dh had a college ring but it was stolen at some point before I met him.
