I am hopeful that they will come to an agreement soon, especially with NFL and college football starting. But who really knows. The problem with switching is that these disagreements happen or could happen with all of the satellite and streaming platforms. I hate to switch again, especially because our internet and cable is relatively inexpensive now. A few months ago our router died and when I went in to the spectrum store the agent said he could make our bill a lot lower by signing us up for a home phone bundle. We don't have a home phone but our internet and cable is now about $105 a month for both (and I suppose the home phone if we actually used it). I don't know how much time DH will want to wait, though.

Yep, we had the same issue with Spectrum. We could not even watch ESPN+ or anything that we paid for additional via streaming that was affiliated with Disney. This is what is confusing for me. Some people are saying they couldn't watch anything affiliated with Disney and some are saying they could. Is it because Spectrum is your internet provider?

Disney says to connect to my local TV provider. When I did that, it detected Spectrum then it was a "no go." I then couldn't watch other channels. Disney owns much more than I thought.

Well it looks like they ended their fight and some of the channels are coming back and possibly a discount on ESPN+ and Disney+.

Well, if you pay for Disney+ they had better not be able to block you from it if your paying for it. Disney+ is one of those things you can pay Disney for directly or you can pay your provider. Maybe the people who have Disney+ are the people who can watch stuff? I think it comes with paramount but I’m not sure.

We've had YouTube TV for years and we like it, even though the price has gone up a lot. We have the top tier of service because DH has to have CNBC. We share with our son in Atlanta. It was nice to be able to drop Xfinity. We keep adding other services like Max and Apple TV+ so we're paying a stupid amount for TV anyway.
