Been watching reruns on Hulu and The Practice has a very bad theme song. Any others that stand out, good or bad?

I loved the theme for Succession. The discordant notes were perfect.
I also love the theme for Outlander. Especially this season with Sinead O’Connor singing it.
For movies, Out of Africa is still my favorite. Others include Driving Miss Daisy and Pirates of the Caribbean. And, well, Indiana Jones and Star Wars.

The theme song for The Office is probably not that great but I love that show so much it makes me happy just to hear it. It is the ringtone on my phone.

I really like the “gangsta grass” theme song for Justified. Also the intro to True Blood.
I can’t think of anything I hate — most of them are just forgettable.

off topic sorta.. I really really hate the theme song for Dawsons Creek on Netflix... I expect and WANT to hear the original... it drives me bonkers to hear a song that doesnt match my memories... lol

Say what you will, but I always thought both Gillian’s Island & The Brady Bunch had great theme songs…the theme songs tell you exactly what the show is about.  |

I've always like "Angela," the theme for Taxi. My dad and I saw Bob James perform a number of years ago, and we're both still a little sad he didn't play it.

I find the theme song and all the music within the show Call the Midwife to be absolutely beautifully scored and played. Sometimes if I can't sleep, I will ask Alexa to play the music from the show for me. It relaxes me and helps me go to sleep. I consider the composer Maurizio Malagnini to be a musical genius.

This will be no surprise to people who know me 😆 but WKRP in Cincinnati has a great theme song IMO.
And this wasn’t A theme song but it was for a promotional campaign for NC, SC, or maybe GA a few years back? I can’t remember exactly but it was promoting tourism to a state and I loved it. I kept telling people that should be a real song. I will have to see if I can find in on the internet.
maybe it was Myrtle Beach days or something like that?

I hate the theme song to CSI: Las Vegas. I'm on season 12 and can't take it anymore, and have to skip or run out of the room. DH calls it the Who Who song. I love the theme song to The Middle (it doesn't have one)  |

The best tv opening song is from The Mary Tyler Moore Show. “How will you make it on your own?” And Mary did just fine.
My favorite movie soundtrack is Goodfellas. Scorsese always picks just the right songs.

Gilligan's Island had a great one. It set up the whole show so if it was the first time you'd seen it, you knew what was going on. Kind of like the Brady Bunch and Partridge Family.

This is what I was going to post. I watched Mad Men on freevee. It’s no longer on there , boo. Whenever I hear the freevee music, I can hear the Mad Men theme right after. Loved that show. |
