Well, I'm sad that Jocelyn and Victor came in last. From being first two times in a row to last, that was something. I liked them. The challenge to carry those mattresses up all those stairs was insane. I was sure that someone was going to pass out and have to be medically taken out. Wasn't there a team back a few seasons where they guy got heat stroke? It was a challenge on bikes and the one on the bike had to carry a huge load of something, and his wasn't balanced properly and he kept falling over. And in the end the doctors told him he couldn't continue...? Well I was sure something like that was going to happen with those mattresses on those stairs. I've loved seeing these Asian countries, because I'd love to travel somewhere in that region some day.

Well, I'm sad that Jocelyn and Victor came in last. From being first two times in a row to last, that was something. I liked them. Me too - wish they would have made it further. I love the place where they went to leave a wish and loved the team that wished for world peace

Bummer for Jocelyn and Victor, they were doing so well! I didn't like the Fish store and putting all that squirmy fish into buckets - no thanks! I'm still rooting for father/son (red shirts), 2 guy friends (one with long beard), and 2 brothers (didn't like each other growing up)...Sorry - I'm bad with names this season. The daughter/father, the daughter is annoying. India is up next, and that always proves challenging for some.

I've never traveled to Asia, but watching this season makes me want to schedule a trip pronto! I'm sad that Jocelyn and Victor came in last, I thought they were the team to beat!

Loving this season so far. Loving all the teams except the best friends, she lost her husband and had the tumor. Something about them rubs me the wrong way. I couldn’t believe how during the match up at the end some people found it right away!

I was so nervous when Corey took so long to get through that awful challenge ~ I think it was 15 tries. BUT, he wisely chose the doll making challenge and ended up coming in 6th! Whew! I wonder which team will get the secret vote against them.

OMG - the Red team (Father/Son), I felt so bad for the son - I think he did the roadblock 15 times! I'm pleased with the results...I'm tired watching them all, and they still have a lot more racing to do.

I was verrrry happy that my two faves: Corey and Rob and the bearded bros made it through this leg! I’ll be on vacation for the next two episodes, so I won;t be weighing in until after then.

I'm in the middle of watching the most recent episode and I had to stop watching for a minute so I could come here to say that the daughter of the dad/daughter team is really annoying me. They've been so strong so far so I hope that the other teams target them with the U-Turn or whatever the secret vote is that you all have talked about (not sure I've heard about that yet). I would be happy see them go home. No one else is annoying me yet, lol. I'll be back after I finish watching. I'm just at the doll making/puzzle challenge. eta: back. I see now that the secret vote IS the U-Turn. I was thinking of the way they used to do it with the board that had everyone's photos. I hope they u-turn the dad/daughter, and the two who were last at the doll making...the team where one woman almost poked the other one in the eye with the needle. They can go. If this post has shown anything it's that I really need to learn names! lol at me.

I was sorry to see the brothers eliminated this week. They were always towards the back of the pack but had such a wonderful story and attitude.
I thought the daughter was being obnoxious by asking who voted for them to be U-turned.

I loved the teams who took a minute to comment on interesting sites and realized that the local people had to live like this all the time.
That daughter is annoying. Surprising b/c her dad seems to be a reasonable guy.

I just finished watching this most recent episode. I agree, the daughter is annoying. And now she'll be worse since they managed to overcome the U-Turn. My favorite teams are the son his dad (the one who's deaf), and the team with the guy who has the great beard. I'm glad they both survived for another leg. India seems like such a chaotic wild place. I remember other seasons when they were in India... just so many people, and the heat. I'd love to visit there, but certainly not run a race there! lol Did they say where they're going next week? I didn't watch the scenes from next week so I missed it.

I was sad to see the brothers go home when their driver seemed to be so terrible. They couldn’t change to a different driver either.

Like you, I don't like that daughter. I get it that she is fiercely competitive but she makes these snide remarks. What a brat. I liked the challenges in this episode - a mixture of physical ones and mental ones. I used to rubber stamp and that one challenge appealed to me.

Did they say where they're going next week? I didn't watch the scenes from next week so I missed it. They will be in Cologne (Köln) Germany! It stuck out to me because I was there last year for the Christmas market. 🥰

I thought the daughter was being obnoxious by asking who voted for them to be U-turned. The brothers were one of my favorites. I wish the two female best friends had been U-turned - they get on my nerves. Also, the two women shouting "out of towners" all od the time get on my nerves - it plays into the ugly American trope. I likes the two guys who won the leg today.

I felt so bad for Malaina and Andrea. They thought they may be first and then they had the wrong coins and had to basically start over after hours & hours wasted. They were real troopers and kept such a good attitude and kept trying.
I just love Greg & John! I was so happy for them.

Just finished watching this most recent episode, and only a day behind this time! lol... I'm improving. That's because my dh is out of the country so I'm home alone and my time is all mine. woo-hoo! Anyway... I liked this episode because I love Germany. The dad and son were so good at that soccer-darts thing, and they were the only ones who did it. They stuck with it, figured out a strategy, and finished. I like them and the beard/mustache team (I MUST LEARN NAMES! omg) Dad and daughter were REALLY annoying me. They can go home any time now. The ones who came in last... I liked them okay. They always seemed pleasant and kept a good attitude even when they made that huge mistake on the ferry. It's always sad when a team is so far behind that Phil meets them at a challenge instead of at the pit stop. I remember another season a long time ago where there was a team that was so far behind that they were trying to do the last challenge in the dark. Then Phil showed up and they knew it was over. I'm looking forward to next week because Slovenia is such a beautiful country. I have a friend whose dh was assigned there recently for the State Dept. and the photos she posted were gorgeous. They were sad to leave. And funny enough (or not so funny) their next assignment was India where they are now, and where they are not having the good experience that they had in Slovenia.

We didn't watch the previews so I'm thrilled to hear they are going to Slovenia! We were there last fall so I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar sights. I felt bad for the last place team too. They would have loved doing the bicycle parade! I give props to Ashley for giving Rob the combo for the lock. I love when the dad was giving the daughter a piece of his mind!!

And those episodes always had what my bff and I called, “their sad music” when the contestants were still plugging away as the sun set… I liked it this week because I also love Germany and that same bff I mentioned above and I had similar experiences when she was driving and I was navigating. I also LOVED Rob at the carnival really getting into kissing and throwing the flowers!

Just watched the episode in Slovenia! We showed DS pictures of the different sights they saw including Lake Bled, the Nordic Center and a picture of the Dragon on the Dragon Bridge. It was so much fun watching the episode! So happy that Rob and Cory got the Express Pass! Poor Rob sure had a lot of stairs to climb in the episode!

The daughter of the father daughter team just gets so upset when they get behind. I understand getting frustrated when lost but she seems to lose all reasoning skills when things aren’t perfect.

I've been so far behind so I haven't participated in this thread.
I'm rooting for the dad/son team (deaf dad, red shirts).. I LOVE them. I WAS liking the father/daughter team but the last two episodes she gets so snippy. (I love her hair though..lol) The out-of-towners.. glad they are gone... I hated when they were yelling that and the skinny one and her voice.. ugggg. The two brothers (long hair/short hair).. I kinda like. They seem like they had a lot of mending to do in their relationship.
And then the rest.. none really bother me too much.
I don't mind the longer episodes but I can't watch Survivor and Amazing Race in all one night.. too much..
