Since I'm on the west coast, most of the times are hard for me to join due to school drop off or school pick up or meal time so I try to join when I can if I'm home.

late afternoon/early evening eastern time for me. Anytime on the weekends. During the week I work mornings and go to bed early

Now Central time, but with school sports, and various appointments, not sure how my schedule will eventually shake out.

Late afternoon Central time works best, starting at 3 or 4pm. Could do an hour or so before wrapping up for dinner. Or over the noon hour works too!

I'd like to join one of these, but I don't have a dedicated scraproom. I could set up a table in my living room, but I'd be going back and forth to my kitchen frequently because I need the counter space. Then my son may pop into view sometimes.  There also tends to be a lot of background noise in my house.  How does this work? |

There also tends to be a lot of background noise in my house.  How does this work? come join in - you can always mute yourself when you're not talking if you're worried about background noise. And it's not uncommon for someone to pop in and out of view as they move around their space. As for your son popping into view - no worries. I have a cat who pops in to say hi to everyone and other people's kids have popped in as well. It's really very casual. |

Dogs (and cats) usually make an appearance and I am never just sitting at my table. I am up, searching for something or cutting something. Never just in my chair working! |

I am pacific so 3 hour difference from Eastern time. I think afternoon, 11am pacific, 2 pm eastern would work best. I typically sit down in my craft space around 11-12.

refugeepea, yes, please join. I had 2 granddaughters with their babies arrive during one of the crops. I introduced them to the peas and then hopped off. I often have my back to the camera, but can listen to the chat. I mute myself when I print or use my cutter. I am in and out of view getting things I need. You can disappear to get a snack or a drink. They are very, very, very casual, but fun to attend.
