Whoever wrote the overview description should switch to writing fiction.

Some of those things are DEFINITELY going to stay, including the cat painting, the swordfish, the tufted wool llama wall hanging, and the awesome green velvet couch in the basement. And probably that bronze bull and maybe a few other things.
I like that Miss Havisham and Estella have their night clothes ready to go on the day bed in the loft and on the wall of the bedroom.
I appreciate the attempt at new flooring in the basement bathroom and the new counter in the kitchen, but why not try updating both together...those darn budget constraints!
This is true Maximalism. Just needs a guiding hand from someone willing to dump every single cherub in the foundation bin at Goodwill. I could really have fun in there.

I wish them luck in selling that house. Hard to look beyond the decor.

I'm speechless.. I think I gasped at the cat painting first.. and it was downhill all the way. I can't even. And the outside is so dumpy.. And those cherubs? Another gasp out loud.
OMG I just saw this is in Colorado... I need to contact my realtor asap.

It almsot looks like the house is staged for an estate sale with stuff all piled on counters and around. I can't picture the type of people that would like in something like this. Would love to see their personalities.

Hmm think I should tell my realtor I’ve changed my mind and want this house instead? 😬😂
There’s some stories in this house and furnishings for sure!

I'm speechless.. I think I gasped at the cat painting first.. and it was downhill all the way. I can't even. And the outside is so dumpy.. And those cherubs? Another gasp out loud. OMG I just saw this is in Colorado... I need to contact my realtor asap. I have a couple collections of thrifted artwork and I would definitely put that cat there. It's majestic. Not as majestic as my velvet bullfighter, but pretty cool nonetheless.

Colorado is a beautiful state and the bathrooms seem spacious. That’s all I’ve got.

The space is probably nice once it has been emptied. Who hangs their coats on the wall along the stairs and why didn’t they put away the vacuum? Hopefully the owner takes it all away, then again you never know, that ornate furniture could fetch some money!

That's an absolute steal! I have half a mind to suggest DH heap up some of his unused PTO and go to CO to rehab that place. It could be COMPLETELY different in a month or so, and you could probably make a ton of money on it.

Wow. But I really love the space. I've looked at so many houses around here, because I want to move, and I say I can't even find something I like. But I actually really like that house, if I had the money to buy and do the remodeling. That house will turn into a gem in the right hands.

I'd never have made it inside because the bare dirt would have been a real turn-off.

But I actually really like that house, if I had the money to buy and do the remodeling. That house will turn into a gem in the right hands. I'm near this area and bought an $800K home 2 months ago, built in 1979, but original baths and other original stuff. It's crazy expensive to remodel here. We will move because of the airport noise from touch and gos from air flight schools in 4 years. In a meeting right now with so many people complaining about the increase in flight school noise across the state of Colorado. It's ridiculous and I believe that we won't be able to sell our home for what we bought, even with a no remodel of bathrooms from 1980. We moved to get in a good high school.

It's almost like someone married the 1980's to 1783 Versailles. The outside could easily be updated with a little cash, but the inside? Nope.

Hold up… is that a taxidermy goat in the family room 🧐 I don't think so. I think it is just fabric etc. sort of a quilt wall hanging.

Hold up… is that a taxidermy goat in the family room 🧐 OMG good eye! It doesn't look real, but why a stuffed version? It looks more like a sheep than a goat, in the face, but I'm truly mystified. And check out the boots in front of it. Those stay too. The more I look, the more I like

I'd never have made it inside because the bare dirt would have been a real turn-off. That’s a blank canvas for some xeriscaping and maybe a hut if grass and greenery.

I really want the vacuum though! My grandma had one like that and those things last forever - clearly 😜.
