Hi, we are supposed to see Bob Dylan tomorrow night. I got an email yesterday saying no cellphones in the venue. I thought that this was just an unenforced rule for the venue. However Google tells me that this is actually Dylan's rule for his concerts and it is strictly enforced.
So I can't use my cellphone to get in, I guess. So I'm wondering if I can print my tickets and they will still be scannable? Anybody know? I wasn't even sure I could print them from the app.
Anybody know?

It was a while back, but the last time this happened to me, I used my phone to get in and then kept my phone in my purse during the whole show. Others didn’t, and got kicked out.

Thank you for your feedback. I have no problem not using my phone. I'm there for the music and the experience. But I looked at their website this morning and I couldn't find a way to print at all. So I was nervous I wouldn't be able to get in.

I've printed out tickets from Ticketmaster and they do have a scannable bar code. In order to do this, you have to log in and go to My Tickets (or something along those lines). You should be able to print from there.

I when I saw Bono in NYC last May, we scanned our tickets from our phone and then had to hand over phones, smart watches, Fitbits, etc and it was all put into a locked bag that we held. If we needed to use our phone, we had to take it out of the theater to a person who would unlock it for us and then re-lock when we went back in. That was the most strict enforcement I have experienced.

I wonder what the initial cost was for the multitude of lockable bags they had to purchase. And do they charge a patron a rental fee?
