A mostly lazy anniversary for us, but next year is New England!
Happy anniversay tmarschall ! Great pictures, also.
scrapmaven - good luck with the car buying. I have had two people that I know purchase cars recently who are both typically very savvy car buyers and get awesome deals. Both had very little wiggle room as it is a very tight market and there isn’t typically a huge markup for low/mid level cars. Also both were looking at the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, amd Subarus, all which they can’t keep in stock and most are being sold before they even make to the dealers. I hate hate hate buying new cars! Luckily I did in 2021 so I have quite a few years before I have to think about it again. 😬😉
lucyg - I am so sorry for sister. 🤞for a speedy recovery
KelleeM - I am glad you are home and good luck on your recovery.
also still thinking of you @tayna2
Good thoughts to all of those who need it.
No cartoons here during the weekday when I was a kid in 70s and 80s. Purely a weekend thing as I remembered it and I skied on the weekend so mostly missed those. But the game shows…those are what I looked forward to when I was sick or stayed home for school. Those were my favorite.
I had fast food last night on my way home from helping my parents setup the hall for my Grandmother’s service today. While extremely sad and something you never want, I am thankful we were able to celebrate her 101st birthday last month, she was able to stay in her house to the end, and she passed peacefully in her sleep.
sorry for bumping yesterday’s thread. I am up and just trying to keep my self occupied for awhile, and while I always read this thread, it is typically the next day and too late to respond.
