We haven't gone to a tour date yet but I love the way she made it accessible for so many people by taking it to the theaters so I bought our opening night tickets for dh and I the day they were released and have been excited since then. This week is my nieces birthday and she decided that she wanted to go to the movies with 2 friends, her mom and her favorite auntie so we grabbed morning show tickets and glammed up yesterday and then followed up with a sleepover for ten 10 year olds. We had SO much fun but im exhausted after that party. Dh appreciates Taylor's music and he's gotten into all of her clues lately and he totally surprised me by knowing every song...he's been listening to the eras tour Playlist on spotify and he ordered himself an All To Well shirt 😍 I was kind of surprised that the first night was sold out for months but there were probably 20 seats empty and yesterday showed sold out but there were maybe 25 people in the theater. Friday night there were about 15 kids who danced the whole time in the front and 3 people in the back corner that I joined and everyone else stayed seated tapping and nodding their heads. Yesterday just the 5 of us were dancing. I'm on a mission to find a full theater of feral fans, I want the party. We loved the show and the sound was incredible. All three of my baby swifties left and said it was just like they were at the real concert so that's a win! If you went, how was your theater? Did you dress up? Here are a few of our pics, I would love to see yours from the tour or movie 🤩

We went Friday night at our small town theater. We’re actually in the theater again right now (this time in the big city 90 minutes away) to watch again in IMAX. We are boring and didn’t dress up or get up to dance/sing, but we love TS! Showtime in 15 minutes!

We went to Cinci N2 this summer and were at the movie on Friday night. Our theatre was a good level of controlled chaos... lots of singing, and a few people standing up dancing, but nobody blocked my view and nobody was overly obnoxious. Probably half the crowd was dressed up. The camera work in the movie was phenomenal and even though we had great seats at the live show, the film gave us insight into so many details we hadn't noticed before (I would never have believed this possible since we watched livestreams from the concerts all summer long!) I'm not sure that I will go to the theatre to see it again, but I'll rewatch it if it comes to streaming, and we are hoping to see the live show again when it comes to Toronto in November 2024. DD has been a hardcore Swiftie for many years so this is definitely a "what a time to be alive!" moment for her.

I love the idea of seeing a concert in a theater since the only concert tickets I've ever been able to afford are so far away from the stage you wind up just staring at the big screens anyway. Glad you had fun!

I love the pics! Looks like fun! I wish I groups of friends that would make bracelets, while sipping an adult beverage, dress up and go see the movie! Unfortunately none of my 6 friends want to do it

I wouldn't go to the theater to see it but will definitely watch it at home! Looks fun if you're in the right mood it with the right people!

I went on Friday with my 17 year old and it was amazing. We didn't dress up, but I would say that about half of the people in our theater did. It was a really fun group - lots of singing etc but it never got out of hand. We came home with a few bracelets from other viewers and mini posters they handed out at the door.
We wanted to go to the concert but my dd had a commitment the weekend that she was in town. After attending at the theater, I'm honestly not sure the concert would have been worth the extra $$.

you ARE a fabulous aunt, Steph! gorgeous too!
I may have to go to see "what all the fuss is about." I'm not really familiar with Taylor's music. Now I'm hoping that there is a movie version of P!NK's concert. I would pay good money to see that on a big screen!

We (DD and son in law) went Friday night at 6:00pm.. I wore my crew neck sweatshirt that I got at the concert. My DDs wore something similar. We brought our bracelets to trade and got the popcorn/drink merch plus the bags (the girls got the bags). It was sold out but there were a ton of empty seats so not sure what was going on. We had the back row and we were the only ones on that row except one lady who was there by herself.. (kinda weird).. There was a group of little ones (5-10 years old) that were all dressed up and danced and sang for probably at least 1/2 the show.. it was cute... we enjoyed that. Most of the crowd was subdued, which kinda sucked. We stood for a few songs and then sat and be-bopped in our chairs..lol. We were kinda sad that the crowd was on the boring side.. but we finally just ignored it and had our fun.

What a memorable party!
I gotta say I'm loving that the season of TSwift Eras and Barbie is continuing.

I’m capable of having a great time with or without a posse.

I went with a friend on Friday! This is the way my old lady self wants to watch concerts from now on. Quick commute to the theater, comfy seats, concessions, bathrooms clean and super easy to get to, and only $20! There was some dancing from the littlier girls, but LOTS of singing. I am not as familar with her Folklore or Evermore albums, so it was nice to sit back and relax. My friend said it would have been nice if our theater would have been a little more lively, but overall, we were very happy.

I thought it was kinda weird that she just sat there all alone when this was obviously not like a normal 'movie'. It was geared to having a party and she was not having it. But that is okay... I get it not everyone is the same.

I went with my family on Friday night. We had a great time! Three of us know all of the words to everything in the setlist, everyone in the theater was singing if they knew the songs, and there was a ton of dancing in seats and down in front (I took my eight-year-old into the front area and she had a blast). People were exchanging friendship bracelets, and a lot of people were dressed up.
We saw the concert over the summer, but it definitely was great to see up-close angles, and it's just fun to be a part of something.

I noticed that too, that shows were "sold out" but then like the whole front part of the section was empty!

I noticed last week in my local fb groups that there were several posts from people selling their tickets. I don't know if they had other things come up in their schedules or what. It's also that time of year that people are coming down with colds etc...

I haven't gone, but we were at a different movie Friday night and saw lots of glitter. My DD went with her bestie Saturday morning, and they loved it. She said it was very fun, and everyone was singing along. I'd go with her if she wanted to see it again.

I wonder if some greedy folks bought up tickets online and are trying to resell at a profit.

I’ve seen lots of ticket resale threads, too, but they seem to be face value cost recovery ventures, not scalping. Now the TS popcorn buckets listed on eBay, on the other hand…

No, just the price they paid. One woman who had a large number of tickets (10 or 12) even offered hers at a discount.

My girl and her bff went to Seattle in July all dressed up in glitter, traded bracelets and had a blast.
My girl then went ent to the movie on Saturday dressed up , trading bracelets and had a blast. She was alone but loved it. Said the two experiences were so different.
Lots of singing and dancing. One of the theatre employees danced every song and he was good she said. Only bummer was there was nothing for merch except pop cups.
I’d have loved to go to both, but the. Lights and sounds would totally overwhelm me.
