I like it in general. Don’t own any right now.
Years ago, I guess when corduroy recliners were being sold, my dad had one. But the nap on the seat was such that, when he reached the “sitting in the corduroy recliner in just my underpants” portion of the evening arrived , the fabric of the seat would grab his undies and sort of drag them slowly down his hind quarters.
I think we make lots of minute or small adjustments when we are sitting, and certain fabric combinations really magnify the friction and all that comes with it.

Well I will certainly look at corduroy furniture with a new, slightly perverted eye. 😜
I had a brown corduroy cowboy hat that I rocked in 10th grade. School year 79/80.

I'm a nay, I had corduroy trousers as a teen and just remember the noise of the cord rubbing together as I walked. Also, it picks up every bit of fluff within a five mile radius!

I love corduroy for the fall! I have the cutest pair of olive green cords from Anthropologie!
I had a corduroy blanket my ex gave me it was the softest blanket. I used it until it was threadbare! I still miss it!

I like it even though I only have one pair of gray corduroy jeans in my wardrobe. I am in the market for a corduroy shacket.

I like in Florida so I'm a nay for clothing but if I lived somewhere colder, corduroy is warmer than denim...

I just got a cute corduroy jacket recently. And I have a corduroy skirt with very thin cords. I love it for fall. I wouldn’t have a corduroy chair but I remember my parents having one from ikea when it first came to San Diego in the early 2000s.

I have a corduroy shacket that I wear about 3 times a year because it's fleece lined and very warm for TX. I like it but I don't think I'd like pants.

I keep thinking I would like corduroy pants and periodically I buy a pair. They hang there forlornly in my closet with me uttering promises to them that I *will* wear them when (a) weather gets colder, (b) there's a hayride, (c) I'm channeling my inner Ralph Lauren horse farm look, or (d) whatever other inane scenario I think will make me break them out. Eventually, they go off with other donations and a wry acknowledgement that I'm just not a corduroy girl.
I'll repeat the whole dance again at some point though because we are our habits, are we not? Lol.

For furniture? No. But we have a Labrador and it would be covered in dog hair within seconds of vacuuming it!
I have a pair of fine waled black trousers that I love. I put them on seconds before leaving the house and take them off seconds after coming home. Emma likes to rub herself on me like a kitty when I come home and they would be covered in seconds!

No for me. I grew up wearing corduroy pants because "they wear well". Black, brown and blue. Every year for school clothes shopping I was only allowed to get corduroy and one pair of denim which were usually Wrangler's for ranch work and riding horses. I saved up my own money to buy Dittos and A.Smile pants.
Now I'm going to have nightmares thinking back on my corduroy days! haha

For clothing for me - yeah. My favourite coat was corduroy until it faded. I just bought a cord jacket that I love. I've worn cord trousers/jeans for years, and I have a needle cord dress. DH has a couple of needle cord shirts.
But thank you for the new visual on cord upholstery...

I have seen exactly one clothing item in corduroy that I loved, a maroon tuxedo, it probably had something to do with the body wearing it Otherwise for clothing and furniture? Big nay for me. Love the new pic Sharla!

Very enthusiastic YAY from me. I need to go shopping for new corduroy bottoms since all of my old ones no longer fit me. (Another enthusiastic yay for weight loss!)

Furniture, no. My family is way too hard on furniture - I imagine my boys would destroy it somehow.
Clothes, yes, please! Love it for fall/winter.

Some of my favorite pairs of pants are corduroy, so a yay fro clothing from me.
I’d pass on furniture. I don’t think it would wear well.

No corduroy pants or furniture. I have an old corduroy jacket - styled like a jean jacket - that I really like mainly because of the color.

I just bought a corduroy jacket from American Eagle and like that. I also have a corduroy shacket. I don't think I would like corduroy pants but a mini skirt could be cute. No to corduroy furniture.
