Do you use Shazam?
I use Shazam if I want to know what a particular song is, and I also use it if I hear a song that I already know and I want to remember to add it to my Spotify playlist.
Just for fun, what are the most recent songs you Shazamed, and why?
1. That Ain't Bad by Ratcat - an old song I had forgotten about that I want to add to my playlist 2. Shadows by Briggs feat. Troy Cassar-Daly - heard it and loved it, added to my playlist 3. Cry To Me by Solomon Burke - love the song, wanted to add it to my playlist 4. One More River by James Reyne - A song from the 80s, I wanted to remember the name of it 5. As Tears Go By by Lulu - I wanted to know who did this cover version of the Rolling Stones song 6. Eternal Flame - I loved this song, and it brings back memories of my Hawaii trip in 1989, we heard it everywhere.

We use it to play Singo! It's Bingo only with songs. Everyone is told to load it on their phones so they are ready to play.

I ask Siri, which uses Shazam because it is owned by Apple.

Until I read your post I never even considered that my Shazam history would be available. I usually use it when I’m out and about and hear a newish song I like, or am reminded of an old song, so that like you I can add it to my playlist. Sometimes I use it to find out the lyrics to a song I’ve heard a million times. (I’m often surprised at my misheard lyrics. 😅)
Anyway, apparently I’ve Shazamed 771 songs, dating back to July 2012! (The first song was Southern Cross by CSN in case you’re curious.)
My most recent:
1. Snow the Feelings - Franperelli 2. I’ve been Dazed - Michael Kiwanuka 3. Your Love - The Outfield 4. Dreams - Fleetwood Mac 5. Don’t Start Now - Dua Lipa 6. Good Feeling - Flo Rida
Now that I’m looking at my most recents, I guess I get several from Tik Toks!

I have been watching One Tree Hill in my spare time and that was my ERA, my high school years! I have been Shazamming so much because it’s full of old songs I LOVED but completely forgot about.

I never thought to use Siri. I like using Shazam because I can play all the songs I have Shazamed, and it will make a playlist in Apple Music based on the songs I have Shazamed. It also shows the film clip, and the lyrics if you want. Until I read your post I never even considered that my Shazam history would be available. Anyway, apparently I’ve Shazamed 771 songs, dating back to July 2012! (The first song was Southern Cross by CSN in case you’re curious.) I have only Shazamed 221 songs, dating back to December 2020. And funnily enough, my first Shazam was also That Ain't Bad by Ratcat! My first and my most recent. Come to think of it, December 2020 was when I got my current phone, so it must only show Shazams on my current phone. I'm sure I have been using it for longer than that.

I think if you ask Siri, and you have the Shazam app, it will put your Siri searches into your Shazam app. I don't have the Shazam app, but that is what a friend told me.

I don't use it a lot but it's great for those odd occasions when I do want to know a song.
My post recent ones are Something Beautiful - Jacob Banks (LOVE his voice), Feeling Good - Muse, Leave out All the Rest - Linking Park and I'll be Gentle - John Legend and Paloma Faith

I don't use my Shazam often - usually only when I am trying to figure out who sings a song that is playing at work.
The last song I Shazamed was "If You Leave" by OMD. I was with my boyfriend and that song came on the radio. I told him it was by OMD and he didn't believe me that there was actually a band named Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, so I had to prove him wrong.

I Love Shazam! My first capture was on Feb 24, 2009 with Hot N Cold by Katy Perry.
The last 5 captures: 1. St Elmos Fire - Man in Motion 2. Tishomingo - Zach Bryan 3. Watermelon Moonshine - Lainey Wilson 4. Dear rodeo - Cody Johnson 5. Come on Eileen - Dexys Midnight Runners
It was fun to look back at almost 15 years of captures!!
