I noticed she hasn't posted since mid October. I hope she is over Covid and feeling a lot better. I am sure everything going on between Israel and Palestine is hard to mentally handle as well.
If anyone talks with her wish her well from me.
And uf anyone knows her let the Peas know she is doing okay.

Was there something offensive said on the Israeli thread. (Yes, some uncomfortable comments toward elaine and Jewish people, as well as Israel.) She did say her nephew was called to serve and her sister and family live in Israel. |

As a Jewish person, I find the war between Hamas and Israel extremely difficult to discuss. I have a lot of very conflicting feelings, especially because American Jews as a whole are historically very supportive of Israel. I know that as i was growing up in my household as well as in the synagogue it was a given that Israel and it’s Jewish people could do no wrong. It is difficult to accept that Israel has been killing Palestinians indiscriminately.
I would not be surprised if she decided to step back for a while due to that thread.

I have also missed her. I DM'd her last month but haven't heard from her. She hasn't posted on FB since August but her DH has posted on her behalf because of Covid. I pray she and her family are okay.

She is missed. She and MichyM are always so kind and thoughtful and generous with their perspective and knowledge. There are other peas who obviously fit that category too. I am including Elaine because she is the topic of this thread and I am adding michyn beyond her post in this thread. Elaine and her family are in my thoughts. |

I posted my question because I know she likes Decaff Diet Coke and was having trouble getting it near her. I was in an ancient Shoppers Drug Mart and saw plenty of it. I hope she found it, too.
