Most of our medication is in the kitchen. The exception is things for colds, we keep those in the master bathroom. This includes aspirin, cough medicine, etc. All of our vitamins and prescriptions are in the kitchen.

We have baskets in the hall or linen closet, depending on the house. You don't want to keep them in a warm, humid environment. I have a basket for colds & flu and another for first aid. And then one for prescriptions.

Bathroom.
Except for the epi pens, which are in the bag of the person they belong to and one set is in the kitchen.

I can’t keep my medication out in plain site because several are controlled pain meds. I keep everything in a plastic tub with a snap on lid in a drawer in my master bathroom. I take multiple things, some prescription and some over the counter like my allergy pills, so I needed to develop a system that would allow me to keep track of what I have taken each day. Once every month I sit down and distribute a month’s worth of pills in this tray sorter that I made, dividing by morning and evening. Once I have distributed the meds into this temporary sorting tray, I transfer them to weekly pill cases. I have 4 of them, enough to set me up for a month at a time. This is the type that I have found works the best for me: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09B2GKR3X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1I can tell quickly if I have taken all that is required each day and I can easily pop the weekly container into a suitcase for travel instead of carrying a bunch of small bottles that could get lost. I keep each current week in my nightstand drawer and the other 3 weeks in the same drawer as the tub of meds. I also keep some OTC things like cough meds, aspirin, Tylenol, eye drops, etc in the main bathroom medicine cupboard; things that someone visiting might ask for. My parents used to keep all of their prescription meds on this lazy Susan on their kitchen table. Dad said it was convenient because he took his with each meal. I showed him how I organized mine and he let me buy them for him too. I would set his up monthly too. He liked that he didn’t need to wonder if he had already taken something or not. I made them for both Mom and Dad and they kept them in the kitchen on the turntable thing.

I keep my own meds in my bedside table. There are always some packets of ibuprofen and paracetamol in a kitchen drawer, and my RA injections live in the fridge. 😊

DH keeps his prescription meds in a drawer of his office desk. it is right next to the bathroom he uses, so it's convenient for him. I keep my prescription meds in the bathroom I use. I have the full boxes (we get our long term prescriptions in the manufacturer boxes here) in a plastic container, and have the current in use strip in a ziplock bag near my toothbrush. OTC meds, like painkillers, allergy meds, cold and flu remedies we keep supplies both in the pantry cupboard near the kitchen and in the en suite next to our bedroom, s we have them easily available on both levels of the apartment.

None of us have any prescription medication. We only have pain relief, anti-inflammatories, and hay fever medication. I store some in the kitchen cabinet, and some in our bathroom drawer.

We have a tall cabinet in the bathroom where I keep baskets with various medication. The only thing in the kitchen is our daily pill container and the lactaid and gasX.
My daughter keeps lots of meds in a corner cabinet of her kitchen as she lives in a ranch with a very long walk to the bedroom bath.

The vanity in our half bath downstairs has a drawer. We keep them there. Except our daily meds which we keep in the kitchen near the coffee maker. ETA dd's insulin is in fridge and her insulin pump supplies and other diabetes supplies live in her bedroom. Or when she gets a big shipment and doesn't yet have room for the newer stuff, the giant box sits on the halfway point of our stairs and then we bitch about it until she puts it away.

Most of it is kept in the kitchen. But we load our pills into a container each week and those are kept in the nightstands in our bedroom, I also have pain and allergy meds in mine. And then we have some other meds & basic first aid in the master closet for upstairs use.

Anything we take daily stays in the kitchen for ease of use.
I keep the medicine cabinet in the bathroom off the kitchen loaded with OTC stuff for the convenience of guests. Basic pain relief, cold meds, antibiotic cream, and bandaids mostly. Other occasionally needed stuff like that is in a plastic box in the linen closet in the hall.

Everything is in a cupboard in the kitchen - except mine are on the counter by the sink. I'm an "out of site, out of mind" girl.
I do have 3 up by my master bathroom sink - supplements I take both morning and night - that way I remember to take the night ones!

What a great question. Never have I thought to store any kind of pills in the kitchen. Which makes total sense. I keep most of mine in my hallway linen closet. Some in my bedroom nightstand.

Kitchen in top small cabinet.
Dh and ds have a container and dd and I have one. Slide out, no lid. Those are for every day meds.
Then 2 larger boxes for extra meds (get OTC at Costco), asthma inhalers, and not commonly taken meds (like cough syrup).
Dd's IgG med vibes are kept in fridge.
Epi pens - dd has hers, I have ds and mine in my purse sling bag.

Used to keep them in kitchen but now made a space for them in our linen closet in the bathroom.
