UPDATE
he's home
They gave him IV antibiotics and knocked his fever and original bacteria down. He did develop a rash in traction to one of the medications, but apparently it isn't life threatening, so they let him go home.
Thank you all for your well wishes!

He is currently battling cellulitis and staph infections which can mess with him..
