Huge fan of the Smothers Brothers. If I felt better, I'd be pulling out my Smothers Brothers albums and my turntable. No doubt Tommy is teaching the angels all the fancy yo-yo tricks he could do.

Very sad. We got to see him and his brother Dick test out their upcoming 2023 tour in late 2022 (Tom and his wife live in our area). The show was fantastic. However they had to cancel the tour because of Tom's cancer diagnoses.

While The Smothers Brothers were best known for their comedy, they were also amazing musicians. I think they still would have been very successful if they had performed their music straight with no jokes.

So many great memories of watching their show with my parents and sister. RIP Tommy.

When I first met my husband we would get together with friends and all get stoned and watch Laugh In and Smothers Brothers. Back then we always had laughing weed and boy did we all laugh at those shows. I can remember my brother-in-law laughing so hard he was crying into a tea towel. Fun times! Tommy Smothers was hilarious.

I'm so sad that Tommy has passed. We always watched him and Dickie back in the day and nobody was funnier. We have one of their original albums in our stack of old LPs. It's not in great condition since it was very well-played. My condolences to his family, and Dickie. Rest in peace, Tom. You'll be missed.

When I was a little girl, I used to watch the Smothers Brothers with my grandmother. We both thought they were hilarious.
My grandmother was very upset when they came out against the Vietnam War. She let me continue to watch the show, but she didn’t enjoy it anymore.
As an adult, I realize how easy it would have been for the Smothers Brothers to keep their beliefs about the war and civil rights to themselves. They were brave to have spoken up.

I loved watching the tv show when I was a kid. My dad also had two of their albums and I played them over and over. I'm sure I didn't get half the jokes but the ones I did get were really funny.
