I was intrigued by the bucket tumbler-style towel warmer on the amazon thread. I had only seen the towel warmer bars/racks in the past. If you have a towel warmer which style do you prefer and why? I'm keeping this in mind for future gift giving to those parents/adult children who don't need a thing

I have one xh gave me for Christmas years ago.it was like a receptacle if that makes semse. It worked great when he got up and plugged it in when he was getting ready foe work. Otherwise, if I did it, it really didn't have time to warm the towel. Also, I didn't really have a place to plug it in except in the bathroom and we didn't have anywhere to put it out of the way.
If you can find one with a timer or a programmable one, that would be the way to go

We got this one as a wedding present. Its out of stock, but I never got how the bar-style would get the whole towel warm. This one works pretty well, but sometimes needs more than a shower's worth of time to get a bath "sheet" hot all over.

I have a tumbler type and it's my favorite. I throw my pajamas, robe, and towel in and hit the button as I'm getting ready for my shower and it's toasty when I'm done.
I also use it to warm blankets for the dogs and when i want to snuggle up.

Thanks to you enablers, I bought two of these today—one for me and one for my daughter. I bought them online from Costco for just $49.97 and was coming here to share the link, but I must have purchased two of the last ones available because they are out of stock now. I was a little wishy-washy about ordering, so I’m glad I bit the bullet and ordered when I did! Sharper Image SpaStudio Towel Warmer Holder, Heated Comfort + Aromatherapy, Large Capacity, Warms 3 Towels, Bath Sheets, Bath Robe, Auto Shutoff, Quick Heating, Essential Oil Diffuser Discs a.co/d/65t1bUxETA. Ugh!! Trying the link again so it doesn’t go to that stupid “super offers” link! www.amazon.com/Sharper-Image-SpaStudio-Aromatherapy-Essential/dp/B0BFVRVQPF/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=25N9RNRT0QMZ4&keywords=sharper+image+towel+warmer&qid=1703809908&sprefix=sharper+image+towel+warmer%2Caps%2C105&sr=8-3&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.17d9e15d-4e43-4581-b373-0e5c1a776d5d

Thanks everyone for your replies. I had wondered how the rack would work too. Sounds like the tumbler container is the way to go. And I love the idea of having a timer to turn it on so you don't have to remember to turn it on soon enough for the towel, robes etc to be warm by the end of the shower. I hadn't thought of putting a bath robe inside, wow that is luxury! Thanks again everyone for the ideas. I'll be watching for Costco to get more in stock. Sounds like at that price it could be a good gift!

I have a tumbler style in what we laughingly refer to as the sauna room. During covid for our anniversary we put an indoor sauna in a nook in the basement. Infrared sauna from Costco and the warmer was from Costco too. Depending on what I'm doing after I sauna, I'll have towels, pajamas or a robe in there so when I step out, I can get into something warm and cozy before heading to shower.
I will also put a couple of drops of lavender oil on a clean washcloth and throw that in so everything smells great when I take it out of the warmer.

Dh bought one and I’m on the fence; I feel like the towels (dry when they go in) come out slightly damp and I don’t really like that. The instructions do say to leave the lid open as condensation will form inside but I’d rather have a totally dry, warm towel. Most of the reviews are positive so maybe it’s just me.
