Is anyone else having a cozy day? I’m working today (boo) but it’s raining out and I lit candles and am sipping tea. Later we will do a rainy walk. What’s your day like?

I’m in the south of England and it’s been blowing a gale and raining a lot all day.

I always get a crazy cleaning/organizing bug right after Christmas.
I went through all of my drawers and DH’s closet today and purges a ton.

I took the kids to Dave and Busters because it's gross out and they were climbing the walls. Now I'm trying to grade exams but it's chaos here.

Sunny and overcast here and a bit cool. We are just staying home the new few days to unwind and relax. I have been scrapbooking, dh did some wood working, ds is playing with his new toys, dd had her infusion and then just chilled out with the dogs.
I love the days between Christmas and New Years because we are all just taking it easy and relaxing. No rush to the day. I need those small breaks. It helps me recharge.

Yes rainy here. Took my grandsons to the ice skating rink, then home to watch the Christmas episode of Call the Midwife and a nap. Woke up to Christmas cookies and tea.

We had snow Christmas Day and yesterday. It's still on the ground and the Christmas lights look so festive in my neighborhood. Just got back from walking both dogs, now I'm curled up on the couch with my Christmas tea and peaing while DH watches Star Trek. Very cozy indeed!

We played tourist and walked around Old Town snd finally ventured into our museum. It’s mostly a history of the area but upstairs they had a holiday hooked rug exhibit. It was nothing like I expected and there were some amazing pieces and then there were a group of somewhat local women working on their projects. I talked to them for a while snd was shown the basic stitch snd I may try it out and go to one of their meetings. These women are so talented. Truly amazing artwork.
We then walked around a few other side streets we don’t usually get to. There were a ton of people doing the same thing. It was tempting to eat in one of the many restaurants but we have so much good at home that and they were crowded. It was a nice day.
Watched a Christmas movie, ate leftovers and enjoyed the hot tub. I have pulled together supplies to complete a scrapbook kit and hope to work on it while on a Meet call tomorrow with other local crafters - mostly scrapbookers.
I need more days like today. I love just wandering around exploring. It was also nice to meet some enthusiastic crafters that wanted to share their knowledge. It may not seem cozy to all but poking around in stores can be very cozy to me. Watching a movie with fuzzy socks and holiday lights also is cozy.

That sounds lovely! I can't say I'm having a cozy day, I'm in my office on my break in front of a space heater because it's always 60 degrees in here.
I soothed someone's ruffled feathers earlier, cleaned up diarrhea, put in work orders on broken equipment, tidied up the floor, went through emails, etc. Next I'm off on a hunt for our missing wheelchair. Your day sounds better! Lol 😁

I woke up yesterday with a goal to slowly and methodically start taking down Christmas, declutter and clean up each room. I spent 9 hours yesterday working on five rooms. Today I finished up the last room on our main floor. I also go my winter stuff out and took down the shelves in the living room to make them symmetrical. Everything looks so clean and tidy, all expired food is in the trash and cabinets, furniture and floors have been mopped or dusted.
I'll save my cozy day for when the snow falls. We have a wonderful fireplace or two that is very inviting.

It’s summer here. It’s been raining today.
Forecast for tomorrow: Periods of rain, some heavy from afternoon with thunderstorms possible.
And with temperatures around 25C (77F), the humidity will continue. Some summer, huh?
So yes, a cosy day inside today, with the fan on high. More of the same tomorrow.

Yesterday was nice and semi-warm; I went shopping and mountain biking. I spent more time shopping than I intended so the temperature had dropped by the time I got on my bike and it was a quite chilly ride. I was hoping today would be cloudy so I could have cozy day at home, but nope - sun is out shining! Maybe I'll close the blinds and pretend

I enjoy this time also - just hanging around home doing the absolute minimum and not feeling the least bit guilty. today has been horrible weather - lots of thunder and lightning and quite cool as well about 26c (78F) but by the end of next week it is supposed to be 33C (93F). Considering it is our summer here a few warmer days would be wonderful.

I have a NYE wedding so I'm working. More leisurely pace than usual, but still spending a good couple hours morning & afternoon in the studio today and tomorrow.

Been raining in Minnesota for what feels like a week. Today it finally stopped, but is still gloomy. I'm off this week so have spent it reading and quilting and overall just being lazy. Getting ready to head back downstairs to cross stitch and probably watch a movie.

I've been working this week but after today, have 5 days off. I'm trying to get my house in order by tackling one room each day before I go back to work. I'm hoping that I can have some downtime/cozy days after everything is done around the house.

Last night I hung out in my flannel pjs with a cup of tea and the fireplace going. It was glorious. I picked up my grandson at the airport this morning and we are off to hockey tonight and all weekend. The break was nice while it lasted!
