I was reading on the new Fiestaware thread about what colors peas don't like food on.
So I was curious...
Do you have a favorite color to eat off of? A few colors?
Does food look appealing on that color or does the color(s) male you happy and just enjoy the food more?

I do not have a favorite color to eat off of. I just tend to choose whatever is on the top of the pile in the item I want.
But...if for some reason I am photographing my food, 9 times out of 10, I choose meadow. I don't know why but most of the food I make just looks most appealing on that color.
Neat question.

I have several colors and I just grab what’s on top, however, I do sometimes notice when I set the plates on the table with food on them…”huh, this meal looks way better on *that* plate” 😆

I love to eat off of Butterscotch, Jade, and Flamingo.
I usually grab what is on top too but sometimes I pull out one of those 3 colors. Especially at dinner.

Flamingo, red and turquoise are my favorites
I don’t think any food looks good/bad on any color plate. I guess it doesn’t matter to me.

None, I kinda love Becki’s idea getting a new place setting every new release. My family would be dramatic if I brought in new dishes. I would love to entertain the idea,

My favorite is turquoise followed by Evergreen. I gave my flamingo away-I love Peony so much more.

My favorite are sunflower or lemongrass. I’ve had Fiestaware for 20 years and have lots of colors, and enough to serve 24 people. (We entertain a lot!)

Although I have 8 sets of dishes only one is Fiesta. It is a red service for four. I probably use it most often.

I don't have any (I some what covet them) but ny favorite was an eggplant one they came out with a while ago Mulberry (2018)? There is also Plum (2001-2015) and Heather (2006-2008) that are eggplant like as well. I love to put Mulberry with the new green Jade. So pretty together.

My favorite is Cobalt which is the only color I own! Sadly, it has been discontinued. If only I had more cabinet space, I would definitely buy more Fiesta dishes in more colors. I love the Peony color too!

I was one of the ones that said I had an issue with the red (Scarlet, I think...). I don't have a favorite color to eat off of necessarily, just one I don't like to eat off of. That said, if red is the plate on top, I won't avoid it. I will use it. Like Jeremysgirl though, I really love meadow. It is such a pretty color to me. It is the most recent addition to my Fiesta plates, but I just really love it.

I havent had a lot of colored dishes, but I dont think I would want to eat off of green dishes. I also dont care for dark colored dishes, but would still use them

I have poppy, lemongrass and turquoise. My favorite to eat off of is lemongrass, but I won't move things around to get to that color. My FIL will put the turquoise back and choose the orange. He is not a picky man by any means, so this puzzles me. Lol

It depends on what the meal is. I don't like to eat red sauces off of red plates, but it photographs nicely on Meadow or Jade. Last night we had ropa vieja with yellow rice and I gave DH the yellow plate and ate mine off of Jade

I will eat off whatever color comes up next. However, for my morning coffee I feel like a Daffodil just starts my day off on a bright and sunny foot.

For food photography purposes I prefer white dishes. Otherwise, I just joined team Fiesta with a purchase of cobalt blue dinnerware, chosen because it was both discounted and workable with the other stuff we already own.

I love my all mixed up fiestaware colors. Nothing matches and that makes me happy to have all different colors.

I have several colors and I rotate them in and out for the season/holiday. I always have a setting for 4 out. For example, right now I have Scarlet, White, and Flamingo out. I just put away Cobalt, Lapis and Lemongrass, my favorite winter combination.
