I'm making a soup this week that has a big bag of soup beans with like 18 varieties too. No ham. But I wonder if I could freeze some. I would think absolutely you can. The only soup I don't freeze is chicken noodle because the noodles would not like it.

destined2bmom haven't your boys gone back to school yet? I mean I would be glad to have him home and cooking dinner. But, well...how's school going for him? Yes the oldest went back Monday. The youngest was supposed to go back Tuesday morning; but a snowstorm hit and he couldn’t drive back. And the university closed for the day. He came back and forth until Thursday afternoon and we had another snowstorm on Friday and everything was closed again. He will go back to school either tomorrow or Monday morning. With weather like that good thing he is staying put.

Regarding my meme. One of the saddest made-for-TV movies I've ever seen was Go Ask Alice. 1973. I was sobbing when I called my BF and I couldn't talk. He was afraid my Navy BIL had crashed his jet. When I calmed down enough to talk, he couldn't believe how much I was sobbing. It's right up there with Brian's Song.

Dinner tonight was a shrimp boil at my sister's house. it was ok but needed a bit more seasoning.
Hope you all have had a great day!

Junk food used to be Nacho Cheese Doritos, now my favorite is more Lay's BBQ chips and also salted milk chocolate caramels.
DH ripped up a section of our kitchen floor and put in a temporary subfloor for that area and we'll throw a rug over it for right now. We had water damage from our dishwasher with the floor bulging. Fortunately no mold. But it may just push us over into remodeling the kitchen. So accepting all tips for that.
Tonight is naan pizza.

taylortroop , uninteresting fact: Only 2 people at a time ever sit on a sofa. No one usually sits in the middle. Unless either of you like to put your feet up on your sofa, you may as well find a cozy loveseat. Get a larger ottoman and then you can put your feet up together while watching TV or reading. Marina , Our floor is bulging in places from water damage. So, we're gonna update the entire kitchen. We'll reface the cabinets, get a new countertop and finally install a backsplash. Dh will do everything but the counter. When we remodeled the kitchen almost 26 years ago we used a kitchen designer from Home Depot. He layed out our new kitchen and did a fantastic job. Though I'm sure that HD employees are random, we got lucky and it didn't cost us anything extra. He made a house call and really laid out a nice kitchen.

And I was lol when Leanne said she didn't like Indian food but did like Indian men. And then lucyg with her I like cops. 😂 In case you didn't know, I have a type too. I like clowns. A guy has to make me laugh. Like all the time. Quick wit. Playful banter. And a total appreciation for my slapstick comedy. Basically he's got to be completely ridiculous. And I'm lucky because Jeremy fits the bill. In my head I had a picture of you going out with actual clowns! . Clowns scare me! Then I clued in that you meant men with a sense of humour! Did you and your girlfriend decide what to eat leannec? Have you regained your appetite? I mean beyond the chocolate. 😉 We ordered calamari from a place that makes it really well ... the delivery service took FOREVER to get it here so, of course, it was ice cold ... I complained and got a refund and reordered ... the next order was hot! I only ate a bit because my appetite is still wacky.

KelleeM is your painting done? How about your floors? The ceilings, walls, trim and doors are done except for some tough ups. The floors go down on Monday and when they’re done the painters come back to do the kitchen cabinets.

It’s late so I’m only really posting to brag that I’m so old, I saw Jefferson Airplane (in its pre-Starship days, with Grace Slick) at Winterland in SF around 1970. My mother was pretty much clueless. cadoodlebug rymeswithpurpleDinner was cabbage & meatball stew which my sister brought over. She in turn ate my matzoh ball soup. She also made chocolate pudding but I’ll eat that tomorrow. Then we watched the first four episodes of season 3 of Only Murders in the Building. Favorite “junk” food (it’s not junk!): chocolate, duhhh

scrapmaven my SIL got white mold in her floor and it grew into her cabinets. That's why we ripped out a section to check. I am considering refacing our cabinets though DH isn't keen. A friend invited us over to see hers which we will do this week. lucyg I love that show and enjoyed Meryl Streep.

lucyg That's awesome! The first time I saw them, Country Joe McDonald and Tom Constanten opened for them. I think I've seen them 3 times? I've also seen Styx, Foreigner, Def Leppard, Kansas, and James Taylor. I'd love to see Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, and Fleetwood Mac, but I'm not sure if any of those will ever happen. We may see George Strait this summer.
