I was craving a Reuben sandwich. I finally had one yesterday and it was phenomenal! I had all the ingredients in my on-line shopping cart, but I didn't want to pay $3.99 for a loaf of marble rye, $15.99 a pound for deli corned beef, etc. Now my craving is satisfied for awhile.
What have you been craving?

I've been craving the Tavern Double Burger at Red Robin for a few weeks. The one closest to me shut down but there is one about 8 miles from me that I think I'm going to take my parents to tomorrow night.

Today I really wanted a banana. I rarely eat them - I either love them or can’t stomach them depending on the day. Today I had one in a sandwich and loved it 😊

Sugar cookies with basic buttercream frosting. My absolute favorite cookie. Both chocolate and vanilla. I have been wanting to make them for family (they are also a favorite for many of them) since Halloween and have not yet. Maybe by Valentine’s Day…. 🤞😆

Donuts (specifically a raspberry jelly donut with white frosting on top, not powdered or granulated sugar on the outside). And cake (or cupcakes, I’m not too picky).

Pancakes. I’m reading a book right now where the main character keeps going to a local diner and getting pancakes. Then I was watching a show last night and they were eating pancakes. I must have pancakes today.

Spicy stuff.
I had a 'spicy shrimp bowl' yesterday when I was on a date with DH, and it was not really spicy...

Pancakes. I’m reading a book right now where the main character keeps going to a local diner and getting pancakes. Then I was watching a show last night and they were eating pancakes. I must have pancakes today. When I was pregnant, I craved pancakes really bad, so we went to a local restaurant and I had me some yummy pancakes! After that, I bought a box of pancake mix and ate pancakes everyday until the whole box was gone.
I've been craving some type of bakery item that is chewy. Maybe a brownie would satisfy the craving.

A really good burger. I’ll probably have one today since DS and I are going out to eat later. I should have gotten it at Red Robin when I was there Friday but I got chicken instead 😞

Pretty much anything I don't have to cook myself! My DH has been on medical leave and hasn't had a paycheck for 3 weeks. So we've been staying home and I've been cooking everyday.

A gooey cinnamon roll. Mmmmmmmm. I would take a McDs cinnamon roll but they don't have them anymore. I haven't craved one in months but I sure wanted one yesterday! Even better, the cinnamon raisin biscuits from Hardee's that they haven't had in some years now. ðŸ˜

We stopped at a Buc-ee's coming home from the coast this past weekend. Their cinnamon rolls are irresistible to me. I'm not a big sweet eater, but good cinnamon rolls have always been one sweet I have a hard time passing up. Buc-ee's makes absolutely delicious ones. What I had been craving was lobster. We stopped at Costco too and they had humongous lobster tails. We had them last night dripping in butter with baked potato and Caeser salad on the side. Omg.

Macaroni and cheese! I've been sick for over a week and for the first few days I had zero appetite. By about day four I was feel better enough to run to Costco (five minutes from my house) to get our Saturday night pizza, which did not appeal to me at all but I hoped I'd have my appetite back by the weekend). As I was heading back to the frozen section I went by the refrigerator case where they keep the soups, dips, etc. and there was a two-pack of Panera mac and cheese. omg.
I bought two of them and basically ate mac and cheese for the next four or five days. lol

**sigh** White Castle. Normal people (ie not me) crave good things when it comes to comfort food. Me? I choose the lowest of the lowbrow.

I have been craving beef stew. Our local grocery store has stew meat on sale but I am sure I can get it at a better price on my next Costco run.

I had been craving handmade pappardelle pasta with lemon and shaved parmigiano but had that last night. Also had a brief craving for pancakes but that subsided. Back to low carb and fasting today.

I want a super hearty bean soup with a thick slice of a good chewy sourdough. Me wanting soup and bread is a sure sign its raining.
