I love opossums — we have them in the yard, and I just love watching them carry their babies on their backs. Plus they eat their weight in ticks. I wish my cat would do that.
Who was the member who had a possum in her avatar?

Hilarious! This sounds exactly like a conversation me and my daughter would have.
We occasionally have an opossum that wanders onto our patio looking for a snack.

I watched a possum meander up my lane yesterday. They are sure not the prettiest creature out there. I was surprised to see it, but it really showed up against the white snow that is covering everything.

Who was the member who had a possum in her avatar? We have a lot of them too. I used to have a horrible snail problem and that went away when all the possums moved in. Years ago a friend of mine nursed a couple of abandoned babies and she had them as pets for a while. They were very loving and docile. I have never understood the people who want to get rid of them. There are no downsides, that I can see, to having them around. They also seem to be mostly active at night. We rarely see them during the day.
