My favorite live show every year.
Trevor Noah played it safe and professional with his intro.
Cool hearing Luke combs talking about Tracy Chapman and seeing her again!

Grammy’s is my favorite award show too.
Miley Cyrus looks so different now. All grown up! I want Billie Eilish to win something.

Did I just see a commercial for caseymusgraves.com?
We have ads for musicians now?

The tribute section is a bit too fragmented.
But I thought it was a nice touch to have Lisa and Wendy playing on Nothing Compares 2 U.

Song of the Year was so insanely competitive, and I am so happy with the winner, although all were very deserving.
And how can you not like her..❤️

Yay for Billie!! Song of the Year.
Jon Batiste has come a long from his days on the Late Show. Happy for him. He seems like a really nice guy.

I recorded it and am not too far into watching. I loved Miley's acceptance speech and her performance. It's a favorite song of mine and a great anthem for female empowerment.

Billie Eilish gives me Lisa Bonet vibes from her character on The Cosby Show, and it makes me smile.
And LOL I’m glad I caught the autocorrect that changed the “et” in Bonet to “er!”

It ended at 11:30 my time, so I was unable to make it to the end. Who was the hinted surprise at the end of the broadcast?

I truly enjoyed so many performances last night and found Joni Mitchell’s segment so moving I was crying. Billie Eilish’s Barbie era look was mesmerizing. My only complaint: nothing special for Gordon Lightfoot in the tribute section. That would have been nice.

She looked so good compared to what I was imagining based on what I had read about SPS and knowing she wasn’t performing any longer. It was a show full of great feel good moments!

I watched the whole thing. This was one of the best Grammys ever! it was great! Trevor Noah was great! he never joked about Taylor swift, except when she walked in. and that was it. No other digs. Taylor brought a fan to hold in front of herself when talking to people so the lip readers couldn't read her lips. I was so happy she won Album of the yr.
I was super surprised that Miley won for what she won! but happy for her. I sort of laughted though, becasue she has a song out now that says how she's not wild anymore, and dresses better, and she pretty much bashed all that with the no underwear comment and her red carpet look. I also did NOT like her hair.
Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs singing Fast car was goose bump worthy.
The whole tribute section was odd. That's my biggest complaint. It was too chopped up and didn't flow right.
Jay Z getting his award and then complaining about poor beyonce was so lame. I mean. get over it. There are probably a lot of people that should have gotten some award or other. And I'm sick of them dragging poor Blue Ivy all around and up on stage with them. No one else drags their kids up there.
It was nice to see Celine, She is so skinny. Eveyone is going on online about how Taylor ignored her, or something. I guess I didn't feel like that at all, it was the joy of the moment, god forbid she forgot to hug Celine. They are just looking for drama. Lame.

Before TS gets slammed about her not acknowledging Celine cause it is all over the place. It was told that anyone should ask Celine if they can hug her first. I am sure that is why TS got her award and did her thing until they got backstage. But the media is turning this into a slam on TS. I think in the moment of something big like this so many eyes are on the winner and watching every single move. The pressure is so intense one wrong move and you are slammed. That is just my take on it. There are pics of them hugging/talking right after the award.

Billy Joel! So good to see him singing and playing again! Again? I just saw him over the summer.. I didn't think he has stopped? It was his first time on the Grammys in over twenty years. Also, the first song he sang was the first one he has written and performed in almost as long.

I also didn't care for the In Memorium segment. Stevie Wonder singing The Best is Yet to Come was an odd song choice. I get it was a Tony B. song, but still a really strange song to sing while pictures of artists who have passed are showing on the big screen. Also, all of those performances, except Annie Lenox, took away from honoring those folks. Other than that one miss, I thought the show was great. Good performances and I was happy for all of the winners. It seemed to spread the love around last night.
