It's amazing. My husband just went there. Even though I had sent him a photo of their open positions/salary it didn't hit him until he saw it himself.

I’ve stopped at the Buccees on I95 in SC a few times as it’s on the way as I go back and forth visiting grandbabies. Whatever they are doing hiring employees is working. The place is always clean, has really nice bathrooms, and you can get in and out quickly.

I'd never even heard of Buc-ee's until my son moved to Georgia. lol. We always stop there when we're driving down that way. Last time I looked the pay for an entry level job was more than we make as substitute teachers here, plus they get benefits. Kudos to Buc-ee's for paying their workers a living wage. At least I'm assuming it is, especially down south where they seem to be located.

It's almost like treating employees well and paying them fairly can actually benefit a company. What a crazy idea.

Oh he's not working there. He and his buddy went to check it out along with a tool shop and knife shop that was close to it.

Happy to hear this.
They are opening the first one in AZ just 8 minutes from my house.

They are opening one in Colorado not to far from me.. their 'fan' page on FB hasn't been all rainbows and butterflies regarding hiring. No call backs and the pay is just a little over minimum wage. That is all here say though.
