Kitchen has metal cabinets, which apparently were a thing back in the 1950s. I see it has a pending offer on the house.

That seems wildly overpriced for what you get but I suppose that's the new norm.
I would keep the pink metal cabinets though. I'd find a way to make them work.

Basically being sold as a teardown for that price. Yikes. What a little time capsule, though. Mary Kay representative, perhaps?

The price is because it’s a very desirable neighborhood zoned for a very desirable school. It was only on the market for a few days and is already pending. They probably could have priced it higher.

Sorry dislikers. I am in love with the pink. I would get SMEG pink appliances and live in my dream house. Get rid of the wood. I hate wood. Pink is everything.

I would repurpose those pink cabinets in a craft room. I like the wall color.
It must be a great location for that price. Yikes.

I painted my bedroom in HS the pink color on those walls. Great for a teen girl, not so great for living spaces in a home. I do like the pink cabinets though. I'd have to figure out how to make those work somewhere.

I love the wall color. I have the same in my downstairs. Not crazy about metal cabinets or the wood paneling. Lots to redo in the house. I do like the floor plan and the exterior. But not for over $1M.

The elementary school, yes. But the middle and high schools are rated pretty poorly.

I love the pink metal cabinets and would keep those, but the rest of the house needs some love ...

It’s quite a time warp. The pink metal cabinets are kinda fabulous actually. I wouldn’t want them in my home, but I love to see where others go full retro with renovations.

I am in love with the built-ins in the kitchen. I am always a sucker for good storage.

I worked for an older gentleman and his wife for a few years doing odds and ends for them. He was a kitchen designer WAY back in the day. Back when those metal cabinets were all the thing. They had them in their house. They do last forever. They looked brand new. So anyways, I love pink. I love the cabinets. If I was a single person with no husband I would make them work. Everything else though, gotta go. The paneled walls, the bathroom, carpet, new paint. I would work around those cabinets and make them work though.

I don’t like the pink metal at all. I like warm wood in a kitchen. I’d have to gut that house - quite expensive.

Pink is my favorite color but I don't like the walls painted that color. It would look good in a little girl's room though. Like most of ya'll I love the kitchen cabinets! And I love the built-ins in the kitchen and family room. The house needs a lot of work.

I like the outside but I'd have to totally gut the inside.

Yes. Or they try to get into one of the magnets.
I kind of love it, aside from the carpet and drapes. My grandparents had metal kitchen cabinets. I can't remember the original color (green maybe) but they had them painted a light tan at some point.

My mother had a "Youngstown" kitchen. It was metal cabinets with a sink and drainboard, all in one unit. I think we had the upper cabinets also. It is too long ago to remember.

If the wood flooring in the entry is what's under all of the carpeting, I'd be happy to paint the walls in most of the rooms, but go right ahead and embrace the vintage pink bathroom, and the metal cabinets in the kitchen. I'd prefer it if I could have those cabinets painted, but I'd be willing to embrace the pink in there, too, if not. I am a sucker for a vintage bath & kitchen.

Fun throwback! My bet is its a teardown. Great lot, great location and desirable for many reasons.

Scrolling through the photos I thought ewww, why didn't they at least paint or clean the floors before photos?! Once I got to the aerial photos I could see why. I'm assuming immediate tear down based on the giant houses built around it.

I don't like anything about that house, the lot, or the street it's on. For $1.1 million, I expect the house to be in much better shape than it is! Yuck.

At $392 per square foot? I would have to gut it just to walk in it. I am sure the new owners will make it exactly what they want.
