AirPods are hard plastic but the AirPod Pro have silicone tips and are noise-cancelling. I'm an android girl all the way except for where these are concerned--they are great! And work with all my devices via Bluetooth.
Definitely superior for flying and they are much more comfortable than any other ear buds I've tried. I like the feel of my Samsung buds but they fall out. My AirPod Pros don't.

Oh, one other thing about earbuds vs headphones…you can’t lose a headphone down into the cracks around the airplane seat. My one fear about using earbuds on a plane is that they’ll fall out and I’ll lose them forever to the airplane seat. I can fall asleep with my headphones on knowing I won’t lose it. I just said this to DH who was encouraging me to get AirPods like his... I use an anti-lose lanyard on my airpod pros. I dropped one once, and it was a pain to get from under the seat. The lanyard solved the problem!

Air Pod Pros, with the appropriate fitting silicone tip, won't fall out. I fall asleep with mine in every night and there are still there when I wake up. I found the original Air Pods incredibly painful to wear, but the Pros with the smallest available tip are great. The noise reduction feature on the 2nd gen pros is amazing for planes. I have the Air Pod Pros, and while the noise canceling is great, even with the smallest tip, they hurt. I’ve also had them fall out on the plane and in the airport.

Thank you quinlove. I think you're pretty great!!! @zee - I tried DH's airpod pros on and they were okay. I shook my head around and they didn't fall out, which was a nice surprise. smartypants71 - I wondered if that existed! @peano - bummer. Comfort is so important.

When you’re on the home page keep swiping right until you get to the last screen. That’s where all of my newly downloaded apps go. Your movie might be there, or in the downloaded file. If you can’t find it let us know and we can help! (Try looking in your ‘Files’ folder, my first option is recents, it may be in there. I’ve never downloaded a movie (DH has) so I’m not certain where they go).
One of the reasons I like apple products is that they have so much less crap downloaded than others. And still, I go through and delete anything I don’t want. I moved everything I use frequently to my home page (hold and drag) and then stuff I use infrequently to the second page.
You can put your favorite apps on the toolbar on the bottom of your page, just hold the app until it starts shaking and gets a minus sign in the corner and drag it down to the bar. The right side of the bar will automatically populate with the apps you’ve used most recently.
HTH!

I finally figured out that when I swiped up it was showing me the third and final page of apps, the opposite of what I see on my phone. Duh. And I FOUND MY DOWNLOADED CONTENT in the Netflix app. I knew it should be there but I couldn't find it. (see above.) I've paired my new wireless headphones with both my phone and iPad. Making progress!

You can swipe down on any page to get to Search/Spotlight. Just type in the first couple letters of the app you're looking for and it will come up - tap and go. No need to swipe around looking for it.
