I have some insider info. Seller bought the nail art from Meow Wolf, not fond of the wall paper and the skeleton is a friend to the young child.... lol...

The wallpaper has to go. Other than that, it is a nice house. Too big for us, but a nice house.

Photo #33, did they put wallpaper around the opening to the dryer? What is going is that?

Dear god, that's so busy, everywhere. I don't understand how people can live surround by so much visual chaos.

Dear god, that's so busy, everywhere. I don't understand how people can live surround by so much visual chaos. You would hate my house, lol. I want things to look at and it shows. Especially on the walls, so many things to look at. I create art and I love vintage kitsch, so yes, it's very visual. I don't do wallpaper though. But this doesn't feel like much of it is stuff that couldn't just be dressed up differently, besides the busy kitchen and laundry.

I've never liked visual busy-ness but never really knew why until fairly recently - I discovered I have ADHD just a couple years ago. Now that I know that, it makes so much more sense to me why I can't handle a lot of visual stimulation in my primary environments. I have decor and art, but I had kind of a minimal Scandinavian aesthetic long before it was trendy (my family is half Norwegian).

There's quite a lot of brown generally - kitchen especially and the kitchen and bathrooms are way too fussy and cluttered. Having said that room sizes are good and with a makeover could be reasonably appealing

I really like it! The bathrooms and laundry room need updating and some of the wall coverings need changing but I think it’s got huge potential. Lovely setting, lovely large rooms.

The outside of the house is pretty but the inside looks blocky. Maybe that is why they wallpapered aggressively? Anyway I hate it.

The wallpaper would have to go along with the brown paint in the kitchen but other than that it’s a really nice house. Hard to believe it’s almost 50 yrs old.

Photo #33, did they put wallpaper around the opening to the dryer? What is going is that? I think it's a reflection of the wallpaper. I think the outside of the house and landscaping are beautiful. The inside, I can't handle all of the wallpaper and curtain choices. Plus I don't like the brown in the kitchen. BUT I would love to have that kitchen!!!! The house is 'pending'.

Not a fan of wallpaper. There is just so much of it in this house, and the patterns are so busy. It would be a hard pass even if I could afford it. If the patterns were more subtle, maybe. The kitchen is lovely but the color needs to be more light and airy. I love the location, and the outside of it.

The wallpaper is hideous. I don't like most of the light fixtures either. Doesn't everybody have a skeleton in their house? The house itself is very nice but I would have to do a lot of remodel to get it to my taste.

I think someone's kid graduated design school and was given carte blanche to decorate. It's too busy and not cohesive to me. I'd take that property in a heart beat if I could re-decorate.

Just looking at pictures of that interior makes me anxious. Way too busy and too many tchotchkes.

So much to look at you can't see if it's a nice house or not. Their realtor should be flogged for not telling them to paint, scrape wallpaper, and declutter. The commission on 3 mill is +/- $25,000. Earn your pay. If I were buying it, I'd ask for $100,00 off for de-weirding the house. I think someone's kid graduated design school and was given carte blanche to decorate. It's too busy and not cohesive to me. Probably, but how do we explain the drapes that don't reach the floor?

Just looking at pictures of that interior makes me anxious. Way too busy and too many tchotchkes. Yeah, it was hard to try to look past all that crap they had. I've told friends who are trying to sell their house to pack up most of their things before taking photos of the interior. It's hard for a potential buyer to see themselves in a place if they can't see the actual walls and floorplan. If I were a realtor, that's what I would tell my clients. I mean, they want to move anyway. So get a head start on the packing! Only leave what you need for living, until you sell.

I think the house is beautiful and has great spaces. Once you took down the wall paper and the drapes it would look much better.

Oh my. They tried.
But swung way wide of the mark.
Someone fancies themselves to be an art collector. No piece really stands out though because they have ALL the pieces. Every last one apparently. And no cohesive style. The final straw for me was that silly little metal windmill in the backyard. Lol.

The house has good bones and great potential. I don't care for how they decorated it but presumably with the exception of the wallpaper -they'll be taking all that with them. A good paint job, new window coverings, and you would have a nice blank slate to work with.

So many competing patterns!
It looks as though they did a lot of international travel based on a lot of the artwork.
I'd be down to take that skeleton in the jacket off their hands though!

The house itself is quite nice but all that wallpaper? Those window treatments? No. Just no. Reminds me of some of the weird crap my MIL loved. But pretty much anyone with the money to buy that house also has the money to totally redecorate it too.

BINGO... to many competing patterns! Too many looks.. I keep seeing Southwest look mixed with modern looks. or something. Nice house. That is in a very nice part of town.. too rich for my blood. I could live with that wallpaper IF IF IF, there wasn't SOO much of it. A little goes a LONG ways.

I don't like the wall paper.
The random different color roof shingles, makes me wonder....did they spot patch leaky or dried out areas...instead of replace the whole roof?

Great bones. Would take a long time to get all of that wallpaper down. $449 a square foot. Nope.
