Really? I would have thought Monday would be better. But then I was always the one with the frozen turkey in the bathtub the night before so what do I know?!

I agree. I've been going by the thaw chart on the bird and always have a frozen turkey to deal with Christmas morning so I've put mine in the fridge last night. No frozen turkey debacle for me this year!

I keep my fridge at 38, so I'm not worried about it thawing too quickly. I really wanted to take it out of the freezer on Wednesday night, but forgot, hence my thinking of putting out a PSA. I really hate having to take up the kitchen sink trying to thaw a turkey on a holiday morning, so I've become much better at moving it to the fridge a week ahead of time.

Don't laugh too hard but We Have No Turkey!!! My dad is on the hunt for yet another designer turkey and I do 't think he is going to find one. (He and my mom are big turkey eaters but after Thanksgiving and the 25th I am good for a year).

We don't do turkey for Christmas. I'm still tired from it from Thanksgiving!
