It’s beautiful and expensive but theses two things often go together.

I really love that house but it would be far, far too big for just me (plus I don't have that money, LOL).

Oh I love this house. It's not exactly my dream house but could totally live in it.

Too much wood for me but it is a pretty home.

It’s overall very nice. The grounds are gorgeous.
I’d make some style changes inside, especially those awful tile counters, but there’s nothing too bad.

I grew up in Omaha and watching Omaha merge with Gretna has been interesting. We have quite few family members that live there now. It has changed so much since the 70's. Love that house. It has all of my favorite home colors. I would have done the kitchen a bit darker in places, but I could deal with it.

I know I know but I really wouldn’t want to live with that much land around me. I like being able to walk to things and I am not a good homebody. The house itself is fine. Not my style really but nothing wrong with it, and it is refreshingly not gray .

The descriptions of baths puzzles me. # of full bath=1 #of half baths =2 # of 3/4 baths =3
What is a 3/4 bath? Not a term I have seen before.

I love it! A little too much wood for me but I’d live there if someone bought it for me!

I really love that house but it would be far, far too big for just me (plus I don't have that money, LOL). I agree. I love everything about it. But it’s just me too. Although, if I bought that house, there’s a good chance that some of my family would be living with me. Certainly couldn’t tell them that I didn’t have the room. It would make a nice family house. Plenty of room and land. I’d love it.

It feels kind of dated inside with the wood color and stacked stone, the finishes, etc. and I don't like the peaked ceilings.
But I could certainly live with it, it's in a lovely setting.

Maybe a bathroom with a shower only? Yes, it has a shower but no tub. We have such a bath and it was called a full bath when we bought out home. I presume terminology varies by market.

I don’t love it. I might like it if it were in Montana. But I’m an urban girl, I want to walk everywhere.

I love this house. I love all the wood. I love natural wood over the white painted wood that is the current trend. I love the detached garage. I would love that much land.

It is a nice house, but I would not like my washer and dryer in my kitchen. The garage needs to match the house. If I had that kind of money to spend on a home, it would have to be by the ocean or in the mountains. The land is so flat, I think I would feel a bit claustrophobic since I've been a mountain girl all my life. Ya can't see anywhere but in the little circle of property. lol

I WANT this house.. this is THE house... My husband is always in Gretna for work.. all.the.time.
I need to move NOW.
Edited: I would change the kitchen countertops and I don't like pedestal sinks for the most part unless a 1/2 bath.

I love this house!! It is so homey and cozy. I could totally live there but, it's too big for just dh and I. Perfect for a big family.
I loved the duck pond!
The washer and dryer are in the butler's pantry as well and the tile counter. The kitchen has what looks like butchers block and slate counters.

I don’t love it. I might like it if it were in Montana. But I’m an urban girl, I want to walk everywhere. I've come to realize that I really need (ha) two homes. One in a very walkable location that's our primary residence, and one that's on acreage when I feel like I need some peace and quiet.

I like the wide open spaces, the big sky, the view that goes forever. I haven't seen the sun set on the actual horizon in years. Even though I have not been in the "mountains" the last ten years, I've been close enough that it's very hilly and lots of valleys and pretty close to the mountains. I like the woods so it still has its appeal, but it's not how I grew up. I love when I drive back to Iowa/IL and the land starts to open up and I can see for miles with all that sky above me.
