Yep! We played it all the time when we were kids. We have it now as well. (And we love the movie!)

Yes, we also played it all the time as kids. But Christmas 2020 or 2021 I got it for DH and I and we’ve enjoyed it. No new characters though IIRC.

I don't remember playing it as a child but it's been part of our family game nights for years - our girls started out sitting on a lap "helping" (and trying not to spoil things) and graduated to playing on their own. It's one of the games that I have a higher than average win rate at (Skipbo, Uno, and Mastermind are the others) and all three kids were pleased as punch the first time THEY won Clue.

I've played the regular version once with some friends and their kids. I've also played the Office version (which I own, lol) with some friends. I enjoyed the Office version more, lol.

It was always one of my favourites (it’s called Cluedo in the UK). I didn’t have it as a child - my three childhood friends and I always tried not to duplicate games. There was little money to spare growing up, so we saw no point in two or more of us owning the same game. Instead we would borrow from each other all the time - my Monopoly spent most of its life in the house across the road! 😄

Played a few times as a kid.
ETA: We didn't have a ton of games growing up. May 7-8. (Would have killed for that Mousetrap game as a kid.) I think I grew up more in that play outside generation.

While I'm not necessarily a fan of Clue, I do love deduction style games. There is a Clue-type card game called Sleuth and instead of a person/weapon/room it's color/shape/quantity. This is the "clue" game that I love.

we play it frequently, and have old clue and master detective clue (bigger/more pieces), and several versions too!

I played it when I was younger and then later with my boys when they were growing up. I haven’t played in years now though despite the fact that we’re a big game playing family. Might be time to revisit it?

Yes! We played it all the time as kids. We’d have one now, but it’s just the two of us, so it’s hard to play board games.

I guess I'm the lone wolf here. I've never played it. I don't remember very many games at all growing up. It wasn't my parent's thing and my brothers were too old to play with me. Now my grown kids come over all the time to play games and we have a blast. Maybe I should get clue and see if we like it.

Played it as a child with family, but not anytime recent. Clue/Cluedo is fine for its era but doesn't hold up to modern boardgame standards due to being a "roll and move" with few meaningful choices. It's a good introduction to deduction style games for young children, but I wouldn't pick it to play with a group of older kids or adults.

Yes! We played it all the time as kids. We’d have one now, but it’s just the two of us, so it’s hard to play board games. There are lots of quality 2-player games available to play! It doesn’t need to be hard, if you’re wanting to play with each other.

Yes, we played it growing up. I have played it fairly recently with my niece and nephew. I like games and Clue is fun.

Fave movie as a kid so in turn, I introduced my kids to it when they were little. We are huge Clue fans and own about 8 versions of the board game, including Golden Girls (just played it on Christmas!) and a 'vintage' 1990s version of The Simpsons I bought on Etsy a few years ago!

Didn't play it as a kid, but recently played a live version at a crafty retreat. Paper envelopes with clues were hidden around the hotel which we collected and we had to find out who did it with what, etc.

I loved it as a kid and was always Professor Plum. Now I wonder if I even remember how to play.
I also had a vintage framed Cluedo board on our bathroom gallery wall until a tree destroyed the wall. Not sure if it survived. 😐

I had gotten Clue as a gift at Christmas as a kid. We all loved playing it, although I haven't played it in years.

Yes! My group of friends that are gamers - started with a couple of us and our tween daughters- and has now grown to mire friends, less kids as they’ve all grown- still play it regularly.
I am terrible at it bc I am too black and white and need to see evidence for myself to check off a suspect.

We loved it when we were kids! I had the 70s version with the slinky Asian Miss Scarlet. I wanted to grow up to be her. 😁 I also wanted to be Cher, but that didn't happen either. ETA I got curious, here are the faces of Miss Scarlet over the years: spotlightongames.com/temp/scarlett.html

It wasn't a game we had at home but I remember playing it at school during wet playtimes, it wasn't my favourite.
