We had a spiral ham last weekend for dinner with company, and I still have tons left. I am up to my gullet in ham sandwiches. Please, do you have any ideas for using this ham up? I will probably make a ham and bean soup this weekend, but there is still more....

Breakfast scrambles. Cube it and toss into salads. Ham salad. Which can be used on sandwiches but also topped on lettuce.

I freeze it, then use in pea soup, bean soup, ham & potato soup, western sandwiches, and will also throw some slices in a pan to warm them up. We use it for dinner, or fry it up with eggs and home fries.

I second scalloped potatoes with ham. If you're tired of ham, it's a good way to disguise it

I freeze some if I have a ton. We also make the pioneer woman's ham & scalloped potatoes. It's my DH's favorite.

I freeze some every year after Christmas. I dice most of it and leave some in slices and freeze in various portion sizes. I thaw the diced ham for omelets, soups and homemade pizza.

Definitely Red Beans and Rice! I'm making that tomorrow with the last of the Easter ham that I didn't actually make until May. But it freezes well.

We'll chop it up in little pieces and freeze it in about 1 cup amounts. Then use it for eggs, omelets, soup etc.

Creamed ham on toast. Omg talk about a childhood comfort food!
Cube ham, dice onion and green pepper. Simmer with a little milk, cream of mushroom or celery soup and serve over toast.

It's great in broccoli cheddar soup or corn chowder too! Cubed with cheese for snacks, chopped and freeze for baked potato topping.

I cut leftover ham into small cubes and freeze in 2 cup portions. That amount is just right for a pot of soup. I have many soup recipes that use ham, most of which have been mentioned on this thread. Sometimes I also throw ham into fried rice.
