I could, but like a lot of posters, I would very much miss t'internet.
I would read more, exercise without the excuse of not really having time, cook, walk, do jigsaws, gardening etc but I would definitely miss the instant access to 'the world'. I wonder how long it would take to get over that....

I could, but I wouldnβt love it. As long as I could exercise outside, walk to meet friends, and read and cook inside Iβd be ok / but I feel Iβd get a bit bored. Iβd be ok without internet. Itβd probably be a nice break.

I had no issues during covid, and even if my internet was gone, I'd still be fine. I have TV shows I want to watch (plain old TV without streaming, and I still have some DVDs that I haven't watched), plenty of craft stuff, several hundred audiobooks and the cats to keep me amused.
I could probably manage about a year before I got bored.

Other than "no internet", that describes many many months of COVID lockdowns, and I actually really enjoyed it.
I would really struggle with no internet, but I would still find things to do.
Walk the dog / exercise Watch TV (plenty of options other than streaming) Scrapbook Sew Read Cook (might be difficult to cook nice stuff after a few days of not being able to drive to the supermarket!)
And I suppose if I ever got bored with all of the above (I wouldn't), I could do some housework.

I could do it. I would miss the internet but I have plenty to keep me occupied for a while. But I would prefer DH went to work. Ha!

That sounds like heaven to me. Other than missing the internet, I would be quite content. I agree! My grandson's hockey and school schedule are a lot. And, sob, I think he made the golf team! I have a week home alone coming up, but I made lunch dates and various appointments.

My DH would be stir crazy within about a day without his streaming tv, Facebook videos and online games he plays. He would be bored out of his skull because he doesnβt really read, and if he couldnβt ride his motorcycle, snowmobile or ATV he would really be sunk.

Overall, I'd enjoy it. However, I'd have to carry a notebook to write down all the random questions that I ask Google all day long.
Based on the chaos that ensued when Facebook was down for a day, I think a lot of people would have a difficult time.

I think I could do it.
I would organize top to bottom of the house, delcutter Puzzles Read Scrapbook (although I usually get my ideas from the internet, so back to my idea books) Games I still have all our DVDs and player, so lots of choices there Take walks if desperate haha Our ATVs in the garage would be calling our names.. haha If I was alone or with my kids it would be fine.. If DH was here we would probably kill each other. He would sleep the entire time. He doesn't play board games, or read.. he would lose his mind.

I would say I could do it with one hand tied behind my back, but I need both hands to quilt, sew, craft, and garden.
My only question is, would I be responsible for meal planning and prep? If not, this situation would be heaven.
Two weeks of doing nothing but what I want without outside commitments or the distraction of the internet? Where do I sign up?

Yes, the vast majority of us here grew up without internet or more than a few channels. Doesnβt mean weβre used to it now. I could easily stay home for that long but Iβd be pretty bored without internet - which provides me not only with online access but also streaming video and music. We donβt even own a CD or DVD player any more. We donβt either And our computers donβt even have DVD players ( or whatever they are called) Also books! I only get new books through Libby, Kindle, or Audible. Most of my paper books have been donated. Now if I could prepare first by downloading enough media (books/video/music) to get me through, Iβd be fine.

I'd do just fine. Not having internet would mess with my video games a little, but I have enough books to keep me busy... not to mention scrapbook stuff to catch up on.

I would be fine, I rarely leave the house now. The no internet part means no work, but oh boy, when our modem crapped out last summer, the part that got to us was our smart home not operating. What do you mean, I have to get up and turn on the light switch, eek.
With a little prep time, this is my dream.

I could probably manage. I purposely did not social media for a month once, although I had to use email to pay bills and other stuff. it was February so I did not spend more time outside... It was pre-texting (or at least my phone did not text at that time) so all my people-interaction was in person.
I watched a lot of cooking shows, exercised, read, crafted, cleaned my house... I did not make anyone else in the house participate, that would have been a disaster, the whining "I'm bored" would have made my head explode.

I would be fine, although no Internet would be hard. I am assuming we would have phone access at least? It would be hard not to talk to family members that long since my parents are elderly I would want to be able to check in with them. I have plenty of books, lots of craft stuff and records and DVDs. We have a nice walking neighborhood so as long as I could get fresh air with the dogs I would be fine. My husband might have a harder time.

I am an introvert so I could do it. I would read, listen to music, scrapbook and clean.

Absolutely! I work from home anyway and I love not having to leave my house. If it were not for doctor appointments, I probably never would leave. I love to read and do puzzles and I have two crazy cats so yeah, I could do it.

I would have no problem with it. I could find plenty to do in my home and would make me take the time to go out and take walks.

I think I could although I would sorely miss my internet. I actually enjoyed lockdown back in 2020. It felt like a peaceful time, daily walks, no stressing about having to go out and do something, no running around.

It sounds lovely. I would work in my yard and try new recipes out of my cookbooks. I would spend a lot of time reading, crafting, and reorganizing. I'd catch up on my sleep.

I think I would really like it.
I would spend most of my days reading / scrapbooking / walking or hiking and gardening if the weather was warm. I would also love to repaint a couple of rooms so might take the time to do that.

No internet makes it harder but I absolutely think I could do that. Reading, making cards, eating, napping, and bubbles baths, then repeat.
