How many do you have?
We are overrun with cutting boards. It seems to be a very popular gift in my family. We have: 1. The inexpensive one I prefer. It is about 8 x 18" and is wood (bamboo I think) 2. A one shaped like Texas, one side is smooth for use and the other has the larger cities located with a star. (gift from a friend) 3. A very pretty small one, about 10" square with a dark/light wood checkerboard pattern (gift from SIL -she made the cutting board in a wood working class) 4. A very heavy chopping block type, about 2" thick (gift from DS and wife) 5. A very heavy chopping block type about 2" thick (gift from ?) 6. A very heavy chopping block type about 2" thick (gift from a nephew who began wood working)

A wood one for breads, a plastic one shaped like a tomato that I use for veggies, and a white plastic one that is used for meat. The plastic ones are small enough to fit easily in the dishwasher.

I much prefer the super thin cutting mats. I have some from Pampered Chef, and just some really inexpensive ones from WalMart. Once they start to get too many cut lines, I just toss them. But I love how easily they are stored in a drawer. They go in the dishwasher well. I can pick them up and bend them to add into bowls or pans of food I am prepping.
I have a couple nicer wood ones, and I keep those for serving bread, cheese or other foods like that.
I had a neat wood one that I ended up gluing wood balls to, to make a cut riser for on my kitchen counter. Works to serve cheese off of also.

More than I really need, but I also use a few to cover up the stupid electrical sockets they put every two feet in a kitchen backsplash.

We have 4 of the Epicurean type boards (only one is that brand) in different sizes that have held up really well.

I have two Boos blocks. I don't use the large one much anymore. The smaller one that stores perfectly on top of my Breville oven, when the oven is off, is used every day.
I have a set of thin plastic ones for cutting meat.

I have a bamboo thing that sits on the counter and it stores 4 cutting mats in it. The cutting mats fit in a recess on the top. The mats are the thin/flexible ones and have been replaced a few times, but I like this system very much.

I have about eight of the cheap thin flexible ones that I use the most, a couple slightly less thin ones from IKEA, one that was made out of a Corian undermount sink cutout that a friend of DH’s gave to us and another similar one that came with the house, two nice wooden ones that I bought from Costco on sale and some cute tiny ones that I only use for cookie photo props.

I have 4. A very thick, heavy wooden that I rarely use anymore. It's just so heavy and a pain to clean. I have 3 thin plastic ones that I use for vegetables and meats. I have a smaller one shaped like an apple that is used to cut up apples, pears, etc. I really need to get rid of the wood block. It's just taking up counter space.

Well, evidently I have a lot of cutting boards.
-I have 4 or 5 white plastic ones from Ikea. I use them for chopping meat or veggies and put them into the dishwasher after each use. They are stored in the cupboard with the baking sheets. -I have 4 smaller ones that are about 5" x 7" that I use if I'm just cutting up something small like an apple or the ends off carrots. Those are stored in the baking cupboard with my measuring cups, bowls, etc. Those even fit on the top shelf of the dishwasher. -I have a large wooden one that's about an inch thick and 15" x 20" or so. I most just use that as a dessert or charcuterie board. -I have another wooden one that has markings on it for diced, cubed, match stick, baton, etc. I don't know that I've ever used it, but my BFF gave it to me because I'm an exacting sort of person. It makes me smile and think of her when I see it, so I keep it. What's one more that this stage?! -A wooden pineapple shaped one DH brought me from Hawaii. That one just leans up against the back splash. -I have a few of the really thin ones but don't really use them. I just prefer the thicker kind.
So maybe a dozen or so?

In my kitchen, I have a big Boos Block that lives on my island and it’s what we use most of the time. I also have 2 other wooden ones that are interesting shapes, we use them mostly when we are doing multiple pizzas or flatbreads. I have a couple of dishwasher-safe ones that are stored in a cabinet and pulled out on occasion.
In the family room, where we have drinks/alcohol, we have a smaller wooden one for garnishes, and we also have a couple of pretty ones in the pantry that are usually just pulled out for charcuteries.

Based on other responses I have way too many. I have 5 plastic ones, 4 epicurean ones, at least 5 wood boards, and that’s just off the top of my head. Could be more.

A big Boos Block on the counter above the knives’ drawer for our produce only. I’m hoping DH will be open to storing it with the others but I’m not holding my breath, and he’s our chef so I’ll definitely defer to him.
4 or 5 Epicurean boards of various sizes that all live in the tall narrow cabinet near our knives’ drawer. These are the only ones we will use for proteins, and often onions because they easily go in the dishwasher. He prefers the one with the non-slip corners. We have so many because with just the two of us it takes forever to get a dishwasher load full enough to run.
Oh, and we have one or two cheap plastic ones in our camping kitchen box.

I have a bunch. I have clear ones over my granite counter tops because I don't want them ruined. But when cutting meat/vegetables, I have cheap plastic ones that go in my dishwasher.

The one I use the most is a small plastic one from WM. I have a glass one for meat. I like that there are no pores to absorb anything from the meat, but I hate the sound the knife makes on it when I use it *shudder*. I also have a few small ones that were freebies or gifts. I'll grab one of those when my plastic one is dirty.

I have a bunch of the thin plastic kind, several wooden of various sizes including a huge John Boos wooden one. But the ones I actually use are two large professional grade boards. They can take heat to 450 degrees so besides cutting on them, I set hot pans on them.
Just as an FYI glass cutting boards may be pretty and non-porous but cutting on them is a good way to dull and ruin knives quickly.
