scrapmaven - I am glad you are seeing good results from your treatment tmarschall - positive thoughts being sent your way for some good news from the Dr for Nick Yesterday DH arrived here early in the morning. We spent most of the morning doing the usual things we need to do on visits home: sort out problems with our bank here and such. We met up with DDiL at Sophia’s school for pick up - we’re doing it without her today and needed to know where to go! We were taken in by Sophia to see her teacher, to tell her that we were her grandparents visiting from Germany! She then came with us in the car back to their house. DH got the pleasure of listening to her read - I’ve already done it twice - and then Lucia joined in the fun. She has been fairly reserved up until now, but just took to DH like he was a long lost friend, and that flowed over on to me as well. We had ramen soup with chicken for dinner, except for Sophia, who has become vegetarian, because it’s mean to eat animals. Today is a quiet morning, then 1:15 at school for the bonnet parade, then home time at 2. We’ll go to the park for a bit until it’s time to take her back to mum and dad.

We are two people down at work this week, so it's been a very busy week just trying to keep up. I ended up working until 7:30pm, and my colleague, who had been on since 8am, was still logged on at 8pm. I had given DSO the heads up that I would be working late, so he popped in to Costco and bought a street taco kit for Wednesday night, and a curry for Thursday night. I hope I can finish at a reasonable hour tonight, so I can kick back and enjoy my four day weekend. scrapmaven I'm glad that you're seeing good results with your treatment. Hopefully you'll be back doing aquatic therapy soon. tmarschall I'll be thinking of you and Nick, and looking forward to hearing a positive update from you. I hate that you have to wait a week and a half for the specialist appointment. That's a lot of time to be worrying.

Hoping for good news for Nick, tmarschall. Glad we can be here for you. Thanks for the heads up about Boursin, jeremysgirl, and I am actually adding mushrooms to my recipe, rymeswithpurple, as I have a bunch of them just sitting around here.

tmarschall praying for your DH. Waiting is hard. scrapmaven did you find any clothes for your travels? I'm glad your treatments are helping and you had fun with **GypsyGirl** . jeremysgirl I saw your update. That just sounds awful! rymeswithpurple very cute picture It's been a nice day with having DS home. Our wifi though is so weak he had to find somewhere else to work. We got a 50' Ethernet cable to connect to the router. A good temporary fix. Tonight I made pasta with Italian sausage, mushrooms and peppers. A family favorite.

jeremysgirl whoops when I read your update post my previous post referred to the first message. I was tired when I looked at it and misread it. Good luck on the interview!

rymeswithpurple, yes! How cute. Please post bow tie picture. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) And have a great dinner tonight. I’m thinking I will actually cook today. A thing with rigatoni. I pinned a recipe for rigatoni with a sauce that includes Boursin cheese spread (which I don’t think I’ve ever even tasted before). BUT I do know I have trouble digesting cream-based sauces, but not so much with cheese. So I’m going to try this dish, and we will just see what happens. I know, I know, TMI. Side note, ever since I pinned that one recipe, Pinterest has been throwing Boursin recipes at me right and left. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Ivm7lm0DayrhoRpwvCeH.jpg) Stay well, everyone. Ive been wanting to try a recipe with Boursin cheese, but my ds is lactose intolerant and I try not to challenge the abilities of the Lactase pills he takes if I can help it! We had subs from an amazing Italian market that FIL loved that someone sent to the funeral home.
