Well that didn’t last long. After three months they announced they’re divorcing.
I can imagine it’s difficult to move halfway across the country to be together. And at 70+, people are settled in their lives. Sad, though.

Sheesh. Yeah, choose the wealthiest woman you can stand and be set for life. So how’s that workin’ for you Gerry?

While I never wish divorce for anyone, did anyone but me not really buy into the whole thing and think much of it was " Ratings driven"?

Not surprised! They seemed awkward together. I didn't watch the show throughout their journey but they just didn't seem to click.

Gerry signed up with a talent agency, I think Theresa wanted to return to normal life but Gerry wants to chase fame. Also he probably is getting more opportunities with women now so doesn’t want to be tied down to Theresa.

Imagine my shock. A nice looking older man who can still drive at night but is still on the market isn’t a catch.

I wondered whose state they would live in. I couldn’t believe Teresa would leave her grandkids. Good riddance to him.

We should have taken bets on how long it would last. She's much better off without him.

They were just interviewed on ABC, they claim they still love each other very much, but the moving was the issue.

After the way he treated Leslie how on earth could Theresa marry him? Please tell me that they had a prenup.
I watch the Bachelor, but I always think they should wait a long time before they get married. In this case, they dragged their families into it, because there were grandchildren involved who did not need to see this and think it's normal.

They did have a prenup. They still love each other but plan to date other people. Me thinks Gerry got a taste of fame and she wanted a normal life. That's one thing I like about Joey, the Bachelor, he wanted a long engagement.

I wonder what Leslie is thinking now! Remember when he told her that she was "HIS GIRL"?
She was pretty mad at the reunion, I wonder if she will tell him to pound sand!

A few weeks ago I saw they were living in separate states and thought that can’t be good. They seem to have just been after the money since they married do quickly. Quick money grab for gifts and such.

That's one thing I like about Joey, the Bachelor, he wanted a long engagement. Joey exhibited common sense. I think that these couples should all wait at least a year before really getting engaged. I know they have to do it on the show in order to make it romantic. Then again, how romantic can it be to marry someone who just slept w/two of your friends and made out w/probably 15+ others? Ew.

I love how gay marriage was supposedly a "mockery of traditional marriage."
Nope, this is.

When I saw them on Good Morning Just an America today she has to give the ring and I think the dress back does that sound right? I know she has to give the ring back. I never watched it so I don’t know all the sides stories about him and money, etc.

I saw the coverage in the media, but didn't watch the show. Can someone post what happened with Leslie? He basically told Leslie she was the one. Then he had the Fantasy Suite overnight with Teresa. Teresa evidently is very good at her job (i.e. makes lots of money) and most people surmise that that is what changed Gerry's mind. Of course, they have a prenup so who knows if that is true. He said it's because they got to a deeper level in the suite.

Gary sucked. I was never able to get into his season because of him. Theresa seemed like a nice lady. Who wants to spend the rest of their golden years with a turd? She dodged a bullet.
