What if the women said "Hell No" and refused to wear it? What would happen then? Reuters article re: kits.Specifically: "Nike's track and field kits for men and women include nearly 50 apparel pieces and 12 competition styles for specific events, the brand said when launching the outfits." and also "Nike told Reuters it will have tailors available for Olympic and Paralympic athletes this year." This isn't the first time Olympic apparel has been criticized though for being highly sexist and I'm sure it won't be the last. Nike should be absolutely embarrassed by this and change course, but it could be another 50 years in the US.

Banana Hammock has been around for a long time. It was even referenced on Friends when Phoebe was going to change her name. It is slang for Speedo most commonly. Guess I'm just not up on slang. lol. Also, I've never watched one episode of Friends. Also, the photos I found when I made the mistake of googling are definitely not Speedos. omg, I will need to bleach my eyes, as littlemama said. I didn't mean it to be an insult, I apologize. I am not a Friends fan either. Banana Hammock is definitely slang for Speedo although there are some other odd, shall we say, bathing suits it is for.

They have had some pretty revealing women’s uniforms in the past, but at least those looked comfortable.

I'll freely admit not to being up on whatever slang goes around, especially now that my kids don't live at home anymore. -- As for "Friends"... I have a friend who thinks I'm very odd because I never watch those types of shows. lol. We're still friends anyway (no pun intended)... (I prefer shows where things blow up, and there are car chases, and things like that.)
