I need to break down and buy a pair of reading glasses because I have a stack of books that sadly I can't read. But I do want to get around to reading the Divergent series and also All the Light we Cannot See.
I also have 5 more books in the Outlander series. And I also watched The White Queen on STRZ so I'm going to add some Phillipa Gregory books.

I'm sad that I've read every book at the library by Sarah Addison Allen. I'm seriously considering buying the rest of her books. I can taste/smell what she writes about. Her books make my heart smile. This is big for me, because I'm cheap and books are free at the library so to me, buying books is like buying air to breathe.

I am usually an avid reader, and always have a book going. But since I got a tablet a couple of years ago, I have spent more time surfing the web, reading this message board and fb, than reading books. I have also gotten back into scrapping after a looooong hiatus, so there's lots more new product/techniques to explore online. I miss my books and will make an effort to incorporate more books into my reading/leisure time. This is me, except add that I watch waaaaay too much TV. Funny thing is, once I get into a book, I always wonder why I don't read more. I truly love to read, i just get easily lured/guilted into other things. My list this year includes Gone Girl (behind, much?), Gone With the Wind and the book I got for Christmas that I am about to dive into today, As You Wish by Cary Elwes. It's about the making of The Princess Bride. Can't wait!

#sweetpea4utoo, cool idea! Even so, it seems like quite a bit of work! I do toss classics in my reading mix. I laughed at one of the challenges - "a book you were supposed to read in school but didn't." Ummmm, that would not be me. I always read everything I was supposed to because I loved reading so much. Saw this on Pinterest. Gonna try to do it I'm intrigued! Quite a few of those will be tough - I also read every book I was supposed to in HS, lol. Maybe we can alter it to be a book a lot of people read in HS, but never got assigned to you? For instance, I didn't read Catcher in the Rye until I was an adult. And I have yet to read The Scarlet Letter. Don't know if there are any books set in my hometown. How would one even find that one out? I guess I can Google it . . . Not sure how far I'll get, but l'm willing to give it a try!

I loved Boy, Snow, Bird. It was clever and well written. Also, We Are Completely Beside Ourselves was SO GOOD! One of my favorites of this year.
Hopefully, I'll have finished The Leftovers by the 1st and my next books lined up are The Good Lord Birdy and Fire Up in My Bones.

Just finished rereading it after visiting his grave in Pere-Lachaise. And The Importance of Being Earnest, which was hysterical.
I added the latest version of Live From New York, since I already have the previous version and just need to catch up on the most recent cast musings.
I really need to finish David McCullough's The Great Bridge too. But I got distracted with homework.

I'm mostly going to try to catch up on all the books I have on my e-reader but haven't read. I love reading but am a slow reader. I'm starting with "Sophie's Choice" which I have been meaning to read forever.

I just want to read more in 2015! I've done a good bit the last few weeks and realize how much I miss it. It just feels like there is always something else to do. But I'm going to try to go to bed earlier and read next year.
I've been reading on my Kindle but I'm all about decluttering, so I vow to read some of the probably 200 u read books I have in my house. Once I read them I am happy to donate them!

Kas, I have a bunch of books on my shelves I need to read as well! I sometimes try to alternate between the ereader and a real book. However, I have gotten to where if a book is really great, I want to own it, so I hope to eventually have a shelf full of most-loved books to pass down to my kids.

I am so happy I read this thread! My Kindle has hundreds of books on it and I am bad to forget what I have. I sat down the other night after reading this thread and made a list for myself for the year. I still need to add books that are going to be released this year. I will read the books on the list in whatever order suits me at the time. I am so excited about my list!

Whatever I read this year has to be better than some of my selections last year. I read some really crappy books, lol.

I haven't read in a while so I'm really looking forward to the new year and a fresh start! I set my 2015 Goodreads challenge at 50 books. So, one a week with a wee but of room for slacking. ;)Right now I am halfway through I'll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson.

I don't have a set plan of what I will read. I have a bunch on Goodreads that I will work my way through.
I have decided this year that I am going to buy more books. I have tried getting them from the library, but it takes me so long to read them sometimes that I always end up being late with them.
I have some on my ipad, but find I like the actual book better.

candygurl I am in the same boat. I have tons of books that I have picked up at yard sales or Goodwill over the past couple of years. My reading goal this year to read every one of them before I purchase another book! I don't know if I'm strong enough...but I'm sure going to try!
