I am so completely heart broke. My beautiful 24 year old niece, is gone. She was such a light in my life, she was just special.
The results of the autopsy aren't finished yet. What we know is she had the flu, laid down to take a nap, & never woke up. She was a Type 1 Diabetic, has always had problems with her blood sugar going low. They do know dehydration played a role.
She was getting married this spring, had found a wonderful man who changed her views on marriage. She was the independant girl who thought marriage was old fashioned.
I'm trying really hard to not attach myself to my DD, also a Type 1 Diabetic. I want to watch her breathe while she sleeps, like I did when she was a baby.
Bless my Dad, he is doing the service for her funeral. I didn't think I could admire my Dad more than I already did, but he is proving again what an incredible Minister he is.
If you could say a prayer/send good thoughts my family's way, I would be grateful.

I am so very sorry for you entire family's loss. A niece, a daughter, a granddaughter, a cousin, a sibling, she meant so much to so many people and a special fiancé. May your hearts be lifted up with precious memories of the dear young woman and may her wonderful memory stay alive in your hearts as time gently eases the pain of this tragic loss of a beautiful life.
